Location is superb – just 2 min walk to park entrance, really cannot get any closer. Breakfast is decent with good variety, and the gym is clean and functional. Staff are friendly and efficient, they speak good English and helped us book tickets and plan our day smoothly. Surrounding area has lots of shops and food options, very convenient for last-minute buys or supper. Overall a very practical and well-located hotel. Would definitely recommend!

A beautiful hotel with an excellent location. The manager is really helpful and friendly and perfect guide for the area around the hotel. The room was very well furnished and spacious. The breakfast is beyond. The dog Popeye is so cute. Zhangjiajie national park is a must see.

This is an incredibly positive place with extremely helpful and friendly service. It's just a 7-minute walk to the main entrance of the national park, and you'll find a night market right outside the guesthouse. Upon arrival, we received a map and clear instructions on how to navigate the park's main attractions. The staff even helped us get all our entrance tickets. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting this amazing place. The rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable.

Wonderful stay. Comfortable, nice, clean room with everything you need. The owner is very friendly and helps you with everything. Breakfast is made by her at the moment and there are western options with bread, fruit and coffee. You can wash your clothes for free on the roof. 10 min walk from the park entrance and with many restaurants and shops nearby. For the price you pay, it is the best we have ever seen.

It was very cozy hotel. The owner picked us in airport and provided all full information about mountains, tickets and even food delivery. We felt like we were at home, it was warm hospitality, full information support, ticket providing and yes, very tasty breakfast. The owner and his wife are very nice and friendly people I even know. Highly recommend to stay in this hotel. One more bonus: there birds sing song in early morning what made your morning magical.

Overall, the entrance fees of National Park is expensive as it sold as 4 days entry . Tiemen Mt , Grand Canyon and Dragon Caves adding up are costly for family of four. Dining out in restaurants are more expensive than other city like Chong Qing , Shang hai ,etc…. The nature of both mountains are breathtaking and people are friendly.

Be prepared to walk and climb plenty of steps. Thank goodness they have escalators up Tianmenshen and cable cars & lifts up and down the mountains. Take your time, enjoy the fresh air and awesome views.

The nature in national park and Tianmen mountain and Grand canyon breath taking. The glass cliff walk and glass bridges interesting when not in clouds. People's reactions to them hilarious. Some of the hiking so relaxing and the further you go from the lifts, escalators the closer you feel to nature. Be prepared for steps, weather changes and the golden whip is valley hike that anyone can do at any age and so happy to see whole hike wheelchair accessible.

Beautiful place to visit for adventurous trekkers and hikers. GEt close to nature and fresh mountain air. Views at special spots are fantastic. I stayed for a week as we need time to rest after the long hikes. Give allowance for thick mist in the highlands and rainy days where views are not clear and visibility is poor. Visit lowland areas (10 mile gallery and golden whip stream) when highlands are misty. Try to avoid the golden week though there are additional buses and staff to help out. During this period, entering through west gate is helpful as human traffic is lesser.

Beautiful national park to explore and less touristy town full of interesting cuisine and local attractions , not too crowded but lively in the evenings, mountains and glass walk ways amazing , some beautiful under rated ancient Buddha Temples at the top of Tianmin mountain we enjoyed more than Beijing

Stunning!

Stunning! our 2nd favorite natural attraction in China, 2nd only to Huangshan Mountain. lots of great trails with exceptional views of a singular landscape. we stayed inside the park at YOLO hotel, which made access very easy. fortunately, transportation inside the park is shuttle bus only, they run frequently, and there's no congestion from private autos like you get at Yosemite. there's a big focus on "Avatar", but that is only one pillar of hundreds. Zhangjiajie is like Arizona's Grand Canyon except in a temperate rain forest, and on a more intimate scale, plus there are no incessant helicopters or mule feces.

I had an incredible stay here, it was perfect for my visit to Zhangjiajie! The place is in a great location to be able to access the National Park and the Glass Bridge Grand Canyon nearby. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and contain everything you need. The neighbourhood was quiet and was very safe. Our host, Rebecca, is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. She helped us with so much, such as booking tickets, suggesting an itinerary and providing tips, arranging transportation and getting breakfast, and goes above and beyond!

Although there was a language barrier (none of the staff at the hotel spoke English), we managed to communicate through translated messages. The room was spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially David. My friend and I stayed in Zhangjiajie for 2 days and David gave us tips on what to do. Most importantly, David made us a tour plan in English for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, explaining what to do/visit in one day. This is really helpful for someone who only has one day to spend in the Forest Park.

Well located walking distance from Zhangjiajie national park entrance. Good eateries nearby with next door restaurant offering discount for hotel guests. The host Cherry and her family are super helpful and helped us plan our trip to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and booked all the tickets on the Chinese websites! She planned a great itinerary and helped us beat the crowds as much as possible. The hotel is also conveniently located in the centre of town, walking distance from the park East Gate.

The hotel was super nice! I would say the most comfortable bed you could ask for after such tiring hikings! Zhangjiajie National Park routes can be tricky to figure out, but thanks to the help of the staff we’ve been able to plan our activities :) Overall an amazing experience!
