Erika has created a magical space that invites you to breathe in all the nature and actually feel your body relax. We spent the afternoon in the outdoor bathtub watching a rain storm come in and then the sun come back out - it was perfection. I will be returning, especially as she really goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need. Also, make sure to ask her about the mirador!!

Exceptional location. Stunning views. Luxurious glamping pods. Excellent, attentive staff. Nice food. Exceptionally good early morning "Bird Tour" with personable and very well informed, English-speaking guide. Binoculars supplied. Saw 29 species within the site itself and along a short section of the track outside. We stayed for two nights. One night would not have been enough.

The best I stayed in Colombia so far!! Amazing views, great breakfast, family like atmosphere. Staff is really helpful and knowledgeable about the birds, and local experiences. You're surrounded by pure nature, can bird watch all day. Yoga studio is clean and really well equipped. You can even put your food in the fridge, even though there is no kitchen available for the use of the guests. They also provide towels free of charge (love you for that)

Hukumeizi is like a fairytale :) perfect for doing absolutely nothing. Rooms are spacious and keep pleasant temperature, you can fall asleep with the sound of the river & jungle. Food is amazing (which is super important if you plan not to move from the property), one of the best we had in our lives. Make sure you book a minimum of 2 nights to fully experience it.
