We had a wonderful time at Coconuco Beach Resort. It is a quiet oasis just 10 minutes walking distance outside of buzzing Palomino. We really had a great and relaxing time. The rooms are very clean, the premises are well looked after and the staff went out of their way to make this stay a 10/10.

Amazing stay in the cute room up in the tree !! Great experience! It was well decorated with details. Everything was new, the bed was really comfortable, you have a large outdoor area to relax with balcony, hammock, lounge area below and as incredible as it sounds you have a proper bathroom upstairs in the tree with great shower. Internet was very good as well. Perfectly located in a quiet street, 5 min walk from the beach or the main street with all the restaurants. Breakfast was really good and on top of this we can have access to the fully equipped kitchen ! Lina, the host, is super friendly and helpful, she made my stay there so nice, I want to come back! Muchas gracias para todo :-)

Staying at this hotel was an absolute dream. Its location is perfect—close enough to Palomino to go for dinner or shopping by tuk-tuk, yet far enough to enjoy peaceful nights surrounded by nature. The staff was impeccable, always attentive to every need. We stayed for five days and had absolutely no complaints. Their kindness and dedication made all the difference. The hotel’s private beach is a true sanctuary—no vendors, no noise, just the sound of the waves and pure tranquility. Every morning and evening, we took long walks to witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets in this little paradise. And the food—absolutely delicious! The women in the kitchen are incredibly creative, making every meal feel like a home-cooked experience filled with love and warmth. My favorites: Ceviche de pescado and The Pargo Platero whit patacón and coconut rice. I left this place with a deep sense of nostalgia, knowing I will return. The level of well-being you experience here is truly unique. Thank you to everyone who made this stay unforgettable!

On first impression Palomino seemed very small without a...

On first impression Palomino seemed very small without a great deal to offer. However once we had found a few bars and restaurants that we liked we were happy to go into Palomino most evenings. The nice thing about being in a smaller place is that you get to know people and everyone was very friendly. We were also assured on numerous occasions that it was a safe place to be and we certainly felt that was the case.

Hello I was very disapointed about AITE resort.No light going back in the room in the dark rain.I fall down blooding because it was no sign going back to the bungalow.Very expensiv for the service I will never go again to this place. Beaches are very small I guess regarding the ocean .I love Colombia but was very diasapointed regarding this Hotel!!

Quiet chill vibe with great people. Nice little shops and coffee bars and restaurants. Uncrowded beach you can walk for a long long way. River to swim or float is super fun. Laid back quiet vibe but fun beach happy hours every night.

Palomino is a little town with some good restaurants, like Tiki Hut. It is very basic, but in tune with its surroundings. It seems to me more like a young person's party town. Lots of backpacking tourists. I stayed at the Naio hotel, which was great.

Palomino has become a place where foreigners go to have fun...

Palomino has become a place where foreigners go to have fun with drugs, alcohol and sex. The hotels are owned by foreigners who do not know the balance and good treatment with nature, I think it is a disturbing tourism for the communities and nature... Lots of noise in the surroundings

This place is really good. The room we got was beautiful, and the rest of the hotel is really nice! The staff was very helpful and kind. The portions of the food are very generous!! I ordered a patacon guajiro and was very very pleased. I would recommend you to visit this place if you come to palomino. It is a bit far from the town but it is quite and tranquil here! a tuk tuk, motorcycle or car can easily take you here in 5-8min and the walk is not more than 30-40min to the "town".

The staff is very friendly and know the town very well and what there is to do. As palomino is in low season, the hostel is perfect for relaxing by the pool or coming back from the beach to have a drink and chat with other guests or staff in the evenings. On the days we wanted to go out partying, they recommended the best places and best of all, you can always walk everywhere. They also seem to be trying new options with breakfast and it was delicious every day.

Beautiful beach hotel with an excellent relaxed vibe due to the great staff working there. The food and drinks were also very good. This hotel has a small private part of Palomino beach which is amazing for sunbathing and you can walk along the beach to get to Palomino town which means you can get the chilled vibes of the hotel by day and, if you want, can head into the town to enjoy the bars and restaurants at night.

The location is super beautiful and quiet, surrounded by nature ( a lot of birds and other animals around), constant sound of the sea was soooo relaxing, swimming pool was also amazing. It was very nuce that this hotel was further from busy Palomino (to Palomino it was only 10min walking distance by the beach) And the staff was brilliant! Very friendly and attentive. Karolina was take super good care of us. Thank you!
