This has been one of our best travel experiences. The entire team are exceptional hosts - warm, friendly, attentive. They work so hard to make this a nice stay for everyone, no matter your age or background. La Masia has different types of rooms, and we had one of the smaller standard rooms. It was cozy and peaceful, and the space outside is just fabulous. There are multiple benches and hammocks to hang out, or you just roam the beautiful garden with its trees full of birds, or have a chat with one of the staff (which was possible despite our bad Spanish!) They also have a good kitchen, with a hearty Colombian breakfast in the morning and solid Colombian dishes in the evening. And someone is always there to make you a coffee or tea in the afternoon and tell you to relax. Note that this hotel is located a bit outside of the town of Salento - but that makes it even better. You will not find the same peace in the town after a day of hiking or exploration. It's absolutely worth paying an Uber/ Taxi. There is a kiosk nearby where you can buy snacks and water, or you walk to the main road to grab a bite. It's a safe and village-like community where everyone greets you on the way. Absolutely loved staying here. The views and scenery were breathtaking, the food was super tasty, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. It was super quick and easy to get into town. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel has a great location, everything is within easy reach. The rooms and common areas are well maintained and extremely clean, the staff is very kind and helpful, the breakfast is more than wonderful, there is a nice and pleasant garden. Nearby are cafes, restaurants, shops, jeeps that go to Kokora... everything. Thank you for the hospitality, we will come again. I highly recommend!

Beautiful accommodation on edge of salento town with an easy walk into the town but out of the hustle and bustle. We had the room with its own hot tub which was lovely and private. The staff were great, really helpful and welcoming - great cleaning service and the maintenance man was so super smiley and friendly - we loved him! Great breakfast with a few a la Carte options and small buffet. We loved our stay!

Let’s start by saying our stay was simply amazing – far beyond our expectations! The staff was truly outstanding: kind, courteous, and always willing to help with anything we needed. They consistently went above and beyond, especially when we had special requests or needed unique arrangements. It really felt like they cared about making our stay perfect. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The value for money is exceptional – you get so much for a very fair price. The facilities are top-notch and everything is finished to a very high standard. Our room was perfect – honestly, not a single thing to complain about. One of the best hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. Without a doubt, this was the best hotel we stayed at in Colombia. On top of all that, the food was excellent – delicious dishes at very reasonable prices. The gym was also super cool and had this fun, rustic "Stone Age" vibe that made it unique and memorable. The spa and pool area were simply breathtaking, with stunning views all around. It was a truly relaxing and unforgettable experience. We will absolutely be coming back here next time we visit Colombia! Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Salento area! Thank you for everything!

This is definitely the place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place just outside Salento with amazing attention. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here - the room was comfortable and clean, the birdsong in the morning was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. Make sure to ask Don Diego about the horseback ride on the reserve. This was our highlight and we highly recommend it over other horseback tours in the area.
