This has been one of the best experiences I have had in Colombia. An amazing place to rest and relax with great value for a lot of included services that you usually don’t find or have to pay extra ( welcome cocktail, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, beauty products and massage or horseback riding are included!) Rooms are very spacious, clean, modern, with everything you need and even more! Luxury and free snacks and amenities. Love the balcony with little private patio , very comfortable bed and bathroom. The food is delicious, fresh and with great quality and portion sizes. I loved that the main dishes were included. Breakfast has a lot of options, lunch and dinner have a special daily menu with tasty options to choose ( soup, salad, main and dessert) They also have an additional Menu and Bar (this is not included, but prices are very fair) in case you want a cocktail , a snack during the day or prefer to eat something else. The staff were exceptional, attentive and friendly. The pool area amazing , with plenty of space to rest and enjoy the sun and perfect weather. The view is stunning and makes you want to stay there the whole time, beautiful sunrise, amazing sunsets and lovely nights watching the stars. I will definitely come back and hopefully will stay longer!

The room was awesome. The view and the lighting were great, and the jacuzzi was the best feature of the room! We really enjoyed staying there! Nice view from the restaurant too! Perfect place to rest and find a peaceful and calm time for your vacation.

Gulupa ecolodge was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed- & I’ve been to dozens of countries & stayed in endless gorgeous hotels. But the peace and tranquility of Jardín coupled with the warmth and hospitality of the staff on top of THE most gorgeous views and grounds I’ve ever seen just put Gulupa on top. Every detail was thoughtful and perfect from the inviting rooms to the delicious breakfast, and the owner Gustavo & staff all have a clear passion both for the hotel & for ensuring people staying there have an incredible time. I cannot wait to go back 💜

Támesis is a beautiful little town with an authentic, welcoming vibe. The main plaza is lively and a perfect place to relax with a coffee and people-watch. Walking around is easy, and most spots are within short distance. For food, the local restaurants near the plaza serve delicious and affordable Colombian dishes — definitely worth trying. For couples, there are great outdoor activities like hiking to waterfalls, enjoying the viewpoints, or taking a coffee tour in the surrounding hills. What I liked most was how peaceful the town felt compared to bigger cities — it’s a perfect getaway. The only thing that could be a challenge is that some activities require transportation outside town, but that’s also part of the adventure.

Nice atmosphere in the town with lots of people using the...

Nice atmosphere in the town with lots of people using the town square. We hiked up into the high country and back via the Christ figure that is prominent on a high point over the town. It was intersting enougn in parts but not great value for effort (and we do a lot of long hikes, 10 to 20km or more, and are used to steep grades. Great place to kick back and relax for a few days.
