I recently spent a week road-tripping from Valle to Quindío, Cundinamarca, and Boyacá, staying at six different hotels along the way. Out of all of them, Hotel Santa Elena Norte in Tunja was by far the best. The price was just right for what they offer. The facilities were more than adequate, and communication with the hotel through Booking was smooth and always on time. The bedrooms were impeccably clean—I honestly slept like a baby. The beds were super comfortable, and everything smelled so fresh. The sheets were soft and silky against my face, which was a pleasant surprise after so many nights on the road. The hotel is located in the north of Tunja, right next to a busy street, but I had no trouble getting downtown—taking buses was easy and convenient. Despite the location, my room was quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend Hotel Santa Elena Norte to anyone visiting Tunja. I would definitely stay here again!

    I know Tunja well as I am an art historian and very interested in its historical sites. It has many "hidden treasures" in churches and small museums. It is also very close to small towns outside Tunja, such as Oicatá, which are totally worth it! Highly recommend.

    The hotel is very modern with lots of colourful original paintings decorating the walls. All the fixtures and fittings were new and in good condition and the place was very clean. The girls on the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. The location is very quiet but only one block away from the main street and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

    Perfect location. Only a 5 minute walk to the city center on a road just for pedestrians. Very close to 3 great supermarkets and lots of restaurants. Paola, the manager was so helpful and maintains a very clean place. The bed was the most comfortable that I've slept on in months. I highly recommend the Aroma del Bosque Hotel!

    I was happy to have a room toward the back of the hotel. It was really quiet which I loved. On my previous visit my room was near the kitchen and I could hear the early morning breakfast preparation. This time was so much better:)
