Breakfast was delicious with yogurt from the families dairy and a full gallo pinto array. The staff learned our names when we arrived and used them throughout our stay. Also they gave us a complimentary watermelon drink upon arrival that was delicious! The hot springs were wonderful and there were 6 or 7 pools of varying temperatures to enjoy. The views of Volcan Miravailles from the pools are stunning. Clean, quiet, safe, great value for the money, very glad we stayed here!

Time really stands still in this beautiful oasis on a hill. The stunning view over the forest, accompanied by the chirping of various birds, is enhanced by the frequent rainbows that form daily due to its location between different microclimatic areas. The room is very modern, the breakfast plentiful, and the hosts were lovely and more than willing to help and accommodate all my needs.

Beautiful grounds, and exceptional host. Very friendly, comfortable, with a magnificent wood fire bbq and kitchen area. Cool off in the pool, enjoy the toucans from the indoor/outdoor kitchen.

Ana is a fantastic person with a big heart and lots of knowledge about plants and flowers in the surrounding area. We were so lucky to have a sloth in the trees and and could even watch the armadillo in the garden. The colorful birds were just amazing. A great place to stay and calm down. Thank you Ana!!!

Great central location to all the attractions as National Park and Springs. Delicious dinner offered by the host (home made) which was the testiest that we ate in Costa Rica for good price. Malekus Mountain Lodge is a beautiful property. The Lodge is the perfect base for hiking the local parks, and the breakfasts are varied & delicious. The hosts are kind and accommodating, and we appreciated all of their excellent recommendations regarding area activities. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon!

Johnny was the best host that you can imagine. He knows a lot about animals and is very helpful. He recommends nice places where you can do activitys around the area. Especially the night tour and the cacao tour are very nice. The hotel has a small garden with a lots of animals. You can see tucans and frogs around the area. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is very good. This place is definitely an recomendation. It was the nicest place where we have been so far in Costa Rica.
