I have stayed in 5 hotels in Costa Rica and this was definitely the best one. The staff was great, the pool looks exactly as the pictures, the commodities in the room were great. Good location if you have a car.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable hotel. The room was fully equipped with anything you might have needed: even glasses to drink, cutlery. It was spotless clean and quiet so you could fully relax and listen to the jungle sounds (and being awake by howler monkeys at dawn but it was a part of the experience:)). The staff was exceptionally polite, friendly and accommodating. We liked the design of swimming pools so you could feel like swimming in the jungle and relax next to it in the sun after intensively active day. I would stay again!

Excellent location. High standard room. Very clean and special. Charming and helpful staff. Very good restaurant. A hotel that also carries out activities to preserve nature in a professional and serious manner. The hotel assigned us a staff member, Gary, a courteous professional with an amazing sense of service and tourism. Gary accompanied us for another two or three weeks before arrival, offered us service, and was available for any questions and requests even during our stay.

We chose the smaller studio, which is a bit hard to spot in the pictures (Casa Jungle), but it’s difficult to put into words just how great it was. Over the past month, we’ve been traveling along the Costa Rican coast and stayed in over 20 accommodations, but this one is by far the best. It features a fully equipped kitchen, a king-size bed, and an epic view. The pool is the cherry on top, but overall, this spot is absolutely worth traveling for.

Relaxing, confortable, ideally located and great fun! Great location between Manuel Antonio Hilltop and Manuel Antonio Reserve. Short walk to the beautiful beach area. Public transport available on the doorstep. Restaurant was really good, great fresh fish and the staff were excellent. Room was really nice, good size and the bed was super comfortable. Loved the daily visits from the Monkeys.

A great place to stay for a few days and discover the Pura Vida here is amazing everyone is so lovely and friendly, whether you just want peace and quiet or some adventurous days out this is your place. We don't like cities and this place was perfect with a bit of everything local souvenirs, friendly bars and beautiful beaches.

We just loved this park.

We just loved this park. In a little more than a ½ day we walked all the trails except the closed one. We stopped for an hour in the café -- which is enclosed in a cage to prevent the animals from coming in! That was the first time I had a drink in a cage. The trails are great and we saw lots of wildlife on our own, including a toucan and a sloth (only saw it on our way out!). The beaches are beautiful too. The only issue is parking. I can't tell what's official and what isn't, and at the hotel they warn you your car can be damaged if you just try to park wherever rather than in their lots. We parked somewhere and paid (talked him down) but I'm not sure it was official. No issues with our car though. Highly recommend this park!

The Nature Reserve was amazing.

The Nature Reserve was amazing. I expected to explore for 2-3 hours and go to the beach. I didn't realize that the entry fee includes several beautiful beaches to choose from with white sand and the water is perfect! I joined a guided tour with Ricardo for $20 and it was awesome! A truly great day that lasted more like 9 hours after taking the hike to the waterfall. My only regret is not planning enough time to explore here. Souvenirs are pricey here, as in most places. If you find camisettas for $10-15 at the shuttle stops along the way, buy them. I got a delicious smoothie at the restaurant inside the Reserve. My tour partner got a sandwich that was huge.

Like a lot of Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio is wedged between the ocean and the mountain making for some steep winding roads and small areas with lots packed into them. One such area is the park entrance which is filled with people selling things or trying to get you to pay for parking. From the park entrance to the public beach is a15 minute walk but there are not really any sidewalks so pay attention to traffic. The public beach is great but like at the park entrance, you will likely be bombarded with people selling things. Plenty of options to eat but parking can be tricky so choose accommodations within walking distance of what you want to do.

The tour guide we booked through the Gaia Hotel and Reserver was amazing and we were able to view both Two toed and Three Toed Sloths, Macaws, Howler Monkey, White Faced Capucin, crabs, lizards, grasshoppers, dragon flies, and more. The guide was knowledgable and high quality professional photos were sent to use by the concierge afterwards. It was an amazing vacation and we only wish we could have stayed longer.

We liked the different breakfasts on offer. The rooms were a good size and great to have a balcony to enjoy the views of the garden. Loved seeing the wildlife around the hotel grounds too. We had a day by the pool which was relaxing and we took the local bus to the beach and Manuel Antonio Park. It was easy to walk to the local restaurants in the evening such El Avion and El Wagon. We also enjoyed the happy hour cocktails and had a good meal at the hotel in the evening.

Beautiful location. The Biesanz beach which you can reach via a short jungle trail from the hotel is also a nice plus. Manuel Antonio NP nearby. The room was spacious. What we liked the most was viewing the monkeys from the swimming pool. It was very entertaining to see them walk around the premises and occasionally sneak into a room of someone who had left their terrace door open.

Located very close to the entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park. Shops and restaurants nearby. Short walk to the beach. Friendly staff. 2 swimming pools. Nice view of the surrounding area to the ocean from the terrace. Monkeys playing on the roof and in tree tops make for enjoyable animation. First stay at a container hotel! Location was amazing! The hotel was right next to the Manuel Antonio national park entrance and the pool area was literally bordering the national park. We saw some animals in the hotel area (iguanas, frogs, monkeys and deers). Also the walk to the beach was max 5 minutes.
