The place was very cozy, clean and comfortable with beautiful gardena and plenty hummingbirds flying around. The owner Cecelia is a very warm, welcoming and energetic lady - definitely fun to be around and she will treat you like family. She is always smiling and positive!

It was the best stay (sofar) on my costa rica holiday. I was really blown away. Super nice Bungalow, with all you need: comfy bed, coach, kitchen and great terasse with hammocks. Lovely and cosy. The breakfast was very good and Angie who is working there showed me a lot of birds and sloths The tour about the plants groeing at their property was also great. The weather was not great but I enjoyed bird watching directly from my terasse

Super nice check in. Great English and we could pay by card. We even got a night tour trough the gardens! Saw several different frogs and a fluorescent caterpillar. Room was spacious and just perfect. Breakfast in the morning was nice. The juga natural was very tasty.

Rio Perdido is located just a 45-minute drive from Daniel Oduber International Airport and boasts 18 km of on-site hiking trails and a thermal river with hot-spring pools.

The property is beautifully nestled along a bubbling brook, close to lake Arenal with an easy drive to Liberia airport and all the hiking and activities near LaFortuna. Trent was a great host with great recos on places to eat nearby. (Gingerbread House is a must for dinner!) . Nice pool and amazing landscaping. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Great coffee, fresh orange juice and fresh fruit. eggs, meat. etc. highly recommend!
