Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. Best kept hotel I have ever been at - the whole staff works hard and it shows! The entire place was spotless (would have eaten off of the floor). Staff were all very kind. Really appreciated the ambiant sounds played near the pool - we felt like we were staying at a spa, which was very relaxing. If you want to stay in an oasis of calm in the heart of the bustling city of Tamarindo - I highly recommend this hotel! Bonus: spotting monkeys a few meters away when eating breakfast.
