The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Big rooms, great views of the garden and natural light. Easy access to the pool and short walk to the small local groceries store within the premises.The owner was very considerate to see how I am doing and if I needed anything even though he connected me with his property manager. The highlight of all was Barbara the property manager. Her kindness and patience was exceptional. She answered all my questions very quickly in detail.

It was beautiful place. Nice,quiet and relaxing Great pools and beautiful beach. Rooms overlooking the ocean with excellent showers,beds and AC. Food was excellent. Will come back.

Paradise on earth! Irene, the manager was extremly helpful and did not hasitate to help us with bus tickets and offered free laundry as well! The Los Caballos is located a bit outside of the busy Montezuma. There is no traffic noise audible, and believe it or not, they have perfect road signs leading you to the place which is quite unusual in Costa Rica. After staying in Montezuma several times I would highly recommend this lovely place!

We felt like guests in the most positive meaning, not like clients. Very friendly staff, great breakfast, clean rooms. You can swim in the pool at night and watch the stars. The hotel has not that many rooms and it never feels crowded. The area around the building is large and you can see wild animals. The location of the hotel itself is on some really steep hills, perfect if you like to hike (otherwise a car or similar is really recommended)

Great value for your travel dollar (or Colones) We loved staying there for the convenience to the local area yet privacy in the hills. We will return for a longer visit with our wonderful hosts, Brigette and Leon.The nights were alive with the sounds of animals and insects and a beautiful night sky. Apparently we are not unusual in turning off all thee lights and sitting on the deck at night.

Thomas is such an amazing host, makes you feel right at home. We had a great stay at the lodge - lovely room & great breakfast. The lodge is situated quite close to the sea (driving distance) making it the perfect fallback position for going out on a diverse range of trips during the day & to relax in a nice and quiet environment at night.

Great place, great value, highly recommended, specially if you travel with a big group. It had everything that was advertised. The staff was kind and helpful, also very responsive, I would stay again for sure. The place is clean and in a good state.

We liked everything. The location is excellent. There are many interesting places nearby. A huge, beautiful, protected area. Spacious, clean, beautiful villa. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. Comfortable beds. Fast internet connection. Wonderful pool. Very friendly host, always ready to answer your questions and help.
