The breakfast was great but not on site. It was a a cute little cafe down the street and we really enjoyed it. I would only suggest possibly adding a few more options for kids to the menu but the owner Barabara was super amazing and went out of her way to accommodate us.

We loved this place! The view was amazing and the terrace gave us so much additional space. I loved my early mornings reading a book and listening to howler monkies (saw them too on our last morning). This place was outside the crowded main street and we loved that. The room was clean and the pool was nice for cooling down. And the pool was not crowded in this small place. The kitcken was good enough for simple cooking.

Absolutely everything was beyond what I expected. The rooms were designed for pure rest — quiet, dark, with heavenly beds and linens. They even had a projector for watching movies and a fully equipped kitchen. The hotel is very close to the beach, right where Banana Beach is — my favorite spot to watch the sunset. The staff helped me rent an ATV for our entire stay, so we got to explore nearby beaches. My girlfriend took the surf lessons they recommended and says she’s got a new hobby now. We also got the breakfast and dinner package, and it exceeded our expectations — the quality was that of a high-end restaurant. Dreamcatcher, we’ll definitely see each other again.

Our experience at the Bluma Hotel was nothing short of royal! The entire staff provided excellent and courteous service, making my wife and I feel like royalty. The beauty of the hotel is particularly impressive - from the unique bohemian design to the stunning views of the forest and sea. Well, the beach is beautiful, and the sunset is spectacular. However, the main road is a complete disaster. There is no pavement, the dust is overwhelming, and the road infrastructure is almost nonexistent.

We had a fantastic time at the beach this weekend!

We had a fantastic time at the beach this weekend! It’s perfect for surfing with super cool waves. However, be cautious if you’re traveling with kids. The beach wasn’t too crowded, and there are several restaurants right in front, so you don’t need to leave the beach for food and drinks. I really enjoyed that convenience!

Americanized beach town. Crowded waters to surf. Really bad infrastructure, roads are bad, no sidewalks and caos in traffic. The beach itself is very beautiful and the waves are nice. Just the vibe is either you love it or you hate it.

Santa Teresa for us was a completely disastrous in terms of development. I cannot even imagine anyone wanting to live there. The scenery once you get beyond the mishmash of stores 3 centimeters from the really poor roads is wonderful. It is a surfer place and nothing more. I would not ever go back for any reason

Santa Teresa has the most beautiful beach.

Santa Teresa has the most beautiful beach. There are so many places to eat that have great food. Santa Teresa does not feel as crowded as some other beaches in Costa Rica, and I honestly feel very safe there. I would highly recommmend this place.

The property is amazing.

The property is amazing. The pool is super cute, the rooms are spacious and modern. BUT the Beach Club/Restaurant charged us for things we didn’t order. We will always pay for everything we eat and drink but when things are added on our bills that we didn’t consume, we regretfully are super bitter. The hotel is looking into it and said they will get back to us. They have t yet. Also, they advocate that they are an adult only hotel but there were kids at the restaurant and at pool.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The service was exceptional, staff were friendly and always eager to assist with anything needed. Cafecito Surf feels like home. The place is cozy and only a few minutes away from the beach. They offer really nice coffee, and I even had the time to learn how to make "Gallo Pinto" a traditional dish. I spent 4 nights at Cafecito and took 1 surf lesson, this was my second time surfing. Leni gave me the confidence I needed not to freak out. Next time I'll make sure I stay longer to keep learning. Surfing in Santa Teresa is an experience everyone should try at least once.

Surf Paradise is the place to be in Santa Teresa! I extended my stay two times because I just didn’t want to leave. The rooms are very nice and clean, kitchens have everything you need but most importantly it has the best vibe of all the hostels I ever stayed at! The people who work there are so friendly and helpful and I made some great friends there with whom I continued traveling through Costa Rica 🥰 Thank you so much Surf Paradise!

Liked the look of the modern villa with bedrooms, living area and kitchen. The pool was big and had a nice lounge area surrounding it. It is in an area of Santa Teresa with a number of good restaurants within walking distance. The beach is across the road and a short walk away. Clara, our contact, was quick to respond to any questions we had.
