Strong wifi (my husband used whatsapp calls for work everyday during our 1 week stay without any problem!), excellent air condition, coffee maker, hot water, really clean and beautifully decorated rooms and a blooming garden. All these things in Africa, just wow! 👍 Not to mention free upgrade to 2 bedroom apartment, free transport from the pier and to the airport and a late check-out... We are traveling 2-3 months a year with a child (3 years old right now) and my husband needs to work a couple of hours every day while on the road. This place met all our specific needs, thank you Nanda and Pompeo!

We had a blast at Barracuda Maio! We owe our experience to Mona and Chris, 5 star hosts! They went to pick us up at the ferry, cooked for us, took us fishing and snorkeling! The house is located on a little farm and has everything you need, kitchen included. The beach is only a 5 min walk: beautiful, empty beach. On the farm there’s a lot of different animals so you can feed and play with them. We want to come back already!

Very nice place to stay! Super helpful and cool guy runs this place! Breakfast was delicious. Close to the beach and some nice restaurants. The host gives a lot of recommendations of where to eat and what's happening in town. The room was clean and spacious. Everything worked very well.

Fantastic , clean, quiet, cozy, green place, close to amazing beach, good breakfast, delicious food at restaurant, real Italian espresso. Very good WiFi, comfortable bed, best caipirinha! The hotel is well located, the staff is super nice, the breakfast is good and the rooms are super clean. It was super good holidays and we had a problem to buy the ferry tickets but the receptionist bought it for us, sent them by mail. Without him we couldn't come to Maio and would have a lost the hotel so you can trust them and just relax during your stay. They also have a restaurant and the food is good. The view from the rooftop is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet so it's relaxing.

The hotel is well located, the staff is super nice, the breakfast is good and the rooms are super clean. It was super good holidays and we had a problem to buy the ferry tickets but the receptionist bought it for us, sent them by mail. Without him we couldn't come to Maio and would have a lost the hotel so you can trust them and just relax during your stay. They also have a restaurant and the food is good. The view from the rooftop is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet so it's relaxing.
