Nelia exceeded all our expectations. The view from our room was stunning, everything was spotlessly clean, and all the employees were friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the bus station where you can catch a bus to the popular beaches. It's right in the center, so all the restaurants and shopping stores are just around the corner. There's also a beach next to the hotel with very comfortable hotel sunbeds. Despite reading about the stones, the beach turned out to be quite good. Dinner was varied with themed evenings, but if you're picky like me, don't worry, there's always a standard continental section, as well as a gluten-free section and a great selection of food for vegans. We had a fantastic time and would love to return. Greetings to the entire Nelia team!

We were stuck on in Abu Dahbi our way back from Phuket to Israel. We managed to get flights out to Cyprus. We were looking for cheap accommodation for a few nights until we could secure a flight from Larnaca to Tel Aviv. The Nelia was within our budget so we booked. It was perfect. Location, breakfast buffet for 7 Euro. Supermarket attached to the hotel. 1.65 Euro for a beer. Also a bar attached with big screens for the football. 3 minute walk to the harbour and beach. Loads of restaurants and bars close by.

I liked other beaches better than the one directly outside...

I liked other beaches better than the one directly outside my hotel but visiting the other beaches was phenomenal - despite the weather. It was off-season and very quiet as it was December. It was nice to go and we enjoyed it but we were using the holiday to assess this area of Cyprus for relocation so we weren't in true holiday mode. The weather was absolutely atrocious with a storm and driving rain (4-14 Dec 2025) and quite cold so it curtailed some of our visits to view things. We popped across to Paphos for 3 days and the sun came out - albeit a minor earthquake happened - and we enjoyed it more to be honest. There were more things to see and do. I suspect we only enjoyed it more because the weather was warmer. Visiting off-season you'll find many things are closed as they are built around tourists for the most part. There was still enough restaurants to visit to have a choice though, so that was good. Overall it is a beautiful area - more so in the summer when things are open - and that fact would have been more obvious if we'd have had the weather to explore as well. I walked around in my trainers and each time I got back to the hotel I had to use the hairdryer to dry them out! This is unusual though. I liked beaches close to the Turkish border

We loved Ayia Napa!

We loved Ayia Napa! The beaches, the people, and the restaurants were all fantastic – it was perfect. Our favorite spots were Sandy Beach and the harbor area. We enjoyed dining at Soho 79 Bar. The town was very easy to get around, and there are plenty of great family-friendly activities, like water parks and boat trips, which are perfect for families with young children.

We went out of season, and it was beautiful. I can’t imagine what it would be like in full season, looks like it would be too lively for me, but out of season it was amazing. Beauties beaches, promenades for miles, interesting area. Loved it

Ayia Napa is beautiful, with a great variety of crystal-clear beaches. The best months to visit are September to November, as it is less crowded compared to the summer. The nightlife continues until December, and thanks to Cyprus having sun almost all year round, you can still enjoy warm, pleasant weather.

Ayia Napa is a clubbing focal point, so staying in the center of town is not for the faint of heart. In the downtown everywhere you look there are restaurants, clubs, shops, etc. The clubs play crazy loud music and the party goers make noise in the streets late into the night. Cyprus as a whole is quite safe and easy-going. There is a fantastic array of food on offer with various cuisines. The beaches are family-oriented and very crowded. So if you are looking for more solitude or adventure, best to avoid them. The alternative are the rocky coves outside the town to the east, but they are much more difficult to get to, as you leave the walkway, and riddled with razor sharp rocks (make sure to bring adequate foot ware). It is difficult to swim there if there are waves, but seawater is very clean there. Overall a great place to visit but not ideal for an alternative lifestyle traveler.

Ayia Napa is extremely clean, with well-maintained beaches...

Ayia Napa is extremely clean, with well-maintained beaches and everything conveniently within reach, we visited Pantachou beach & Nissi beach. It was very peaceful, and the weather and sea were excellent in October, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Rooms are a little bit dated, but clean. The food needs more variety, but it's tasty and you will not stay hungry. Swimming pool was ok for kids, but we preferred beach. Macronissos beach (in my opinion the best beach in Ayia Napa) is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. It's not far, but it is tiring with small kids, and a lot of beach staff carrying along every day on the Sun, no shadow along the way. The staff was very nice. All together, we enjoyed our stay.

. One of the best hotels we've been. , Excellent service, extra care and daily surprises, clean quiet, pool with many waterjets, for adults only. Super breakfast. For beach lovers, it's not on the beachside, but need a 10 minute walk.
