The fireplace in the room is quite an amazing experience...they provide easy fire starters and just the right about of wood to have a nice roaring fire for a couple of hours. This wonderfully atmospheric historic hotel sits tucked away in a picturesque forest, and stepping inside feels like traveling back to the mid-20th century. There’s even an original menu from 1944 framed on the wall—such a charming touch. The lobby is incredibly cozy, complete with a fireplace and excellent cocktails, and the veranda bar is absolutely stunning. Breakfast is served in a beautiful restaurant that perfectly complements the hotel’s character. Our room was simple but very comfortable, featuring two balconies. The bathroom looked like it came straight out of a high-end European design catalog—everything modern, sleek, and top-quality. The staff were warm, attentive, and even helped us out with toothbrushes when we needed them. I would gladly stay here again!
