    Castle is absolute must.

    Castle is absolute must. It is breathtaking (both views and stairs). Tour is 3 times to fast, but on the other hand, for a architecture/history nerd (like me) 4 hours would still be not be enough. Tourists didn't yet trample every corner of this medieval town, so you can enjoy cold beer and tasty goulash in peace.

    Great, very friendly family hotel with heart and soul. Free parking, rich breakfast included, very nice, modern, super clean rooms, 5 minutes walk to the center and 12 minutes to the castle. I felt very welcome on all levels. great value for money. The best value for money accommodation on site. Only 200 m away Elisa Restourant with delicious food and river view. I can recommend everyone to spend the night in the Karlstein bunker to protect themselves from the past.

    Extremely horrible. The employee of reception can only speak Czech, neither German nor English, and rude, uneducated, unprofessional. I travel around the world more than 20 years never met such Service of a 4 Stars Hotel like this one. I choice the Hotel because Feedback with Note 9.2, how can be that the Hotel received a Note of 9.2? I think Booking com is also the fault that give us such wrong informations.

    The property is located basically “under” the Karlstejn castle. Restaurant attached to the property offered nice dishes for reasonable price. The guy who took care of us (accommodated us and served us at the restaurant) was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok.
