I was here to do some family tree research, found the place delightful. Pity there were no street bikes to hire, as the 3 bike shops in town didn’t quite understand English. Case carried up to beautifully decorated rooms with a terrace on that floor, overlooking the garden. Breakfast a cold buffet of fresh fruit, vegetables, bread, rolls, ham, cheese, yoghurt. Plus delicious scrambled eggs freshly cooked just for us served on a flowering terrace. In a great location close to town centre and a station. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
