From the moment I stepped through the door, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and the top-notch service that this establishment provided. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was truly remarkable. The attention to detail in maintaining a spotless environment was evident in every corner. From the lobby to the rooms, I was greeted with a level of cleanliness that surpassed my expectations. It's always a delight to stay in a hotel where you can walk around in your socks without a worry. The comfortable beds in the room were another highlight of my stay. After a long day of exploring Chlumec nad Cidlinou, sinking into the cozy, well-made bed was like a dream come true. It's clear that the hotel takes great care in ensuring guests have a restful night's sleep. Speaking of the rooms, I was pleasantly surprised by their decent size. There was ample space to move around, store luggage, and simply relax. It's always a plus when a hotel room feels spacious and well-designed. But what truly sets this hotel apart is its staff. The team here is genuinely friendly and welcoming. From the moment I arrived until the moment I checked out, I felt like a valued guest. Chateau Loucen was fantastic. We spent our honeymoon in the Thurn-Taxis apartment, which is in the historical part of the chateau. The room is very regal and luxurious, the bathroom was particularly grand with a free-standing bath. It was clean and had everything you could need from a hotel room. The hotel has plenty to do, the restaurant is excellent, the whirlpool is very private and comfortable, and the grounds are filled with labyrinths and mazes.

All is at high standard, perfect delicious breakfast, nice staff and the pool facilities were superb.

The chateau was so beautiful and decorated nicely into the details. It was like going back in time but nothing outdated and in a very good state. The service was exceptional and the staff really wanted to make you feel welcome and looked after. We had wellness and treatments booked beforehand and it was one of the best massages I had in a long time. They also gave some free samples to try after the treatment. I would recommend the Mcely bath of love for a relaxing romantic experience. My skin was super soft afterwards! The food in the restaurant was also delicious.
