Žatec features a nice central square with a recently...
Žatec features a nice central square with a recently restored town hall, a big church and a one-of-kind town gate. We discovered a huge synagogue (still under restoration) that reminds one of the Moorish architecture of Prague's Sephardic synagogue. We found it difficult to find a normal Czech restaurant in the evening. Žatec is known among the Czech because of its hop and its beer. There exists even a hop museum.Guest review byC.F.Netherlands
