It is a great old town with plenty of things to see, especially if you are into historical sightseeing and lovely nature/surroundings. Just make sure that you come at the right time. It's a quick jaunt from Vienna, ergo a convenient way to get some Czech culture. My hunch is Telc would be a better trip but it's hard to reach. The town is good for 1-2 nights. We stayed two nights in early spring. The town seemed to be a tad sleepy even though it was Easter week. It made it seem like two nights was pushing it. But the town is pretty and I can see it being very interesting with nicer weather. Brush up on your German as there was not much English spoken.Guest review byOlsen

The room was very comfortable and cosy, with rustic style furniture, and was spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfasts were filling, with a good selection of local produce. Although the accommodation is very central, there was very little noise, and even the bells of St Nicholas church opposite were relatively quiet.
