The whole concept is great. Especially controlling all the room features via your phone was fun and very convenient. There is fresh water, still and sparkling, from a fountain in the hallway and an espresso machine for a nice coffee. The bed is very comfortable and has good pillows.

We had a fantastic time staying at this beautiful house! The location was perfect, offering easy access to local attractions and a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We particularly enjoyed the cozy living area and the lovely garden. The baby bed and bedsheets that was prepared for our little son was also a success. Our vacation was for a short weekend but a week could be easily spent in this house. Next time maybe :)

Since I was there for a business event, I can't say much about it. It's a small town, but very welcoming. Even on a walk, I didn't feel like a stranger :-)

A pleasant area, but the hotel we stayed in was subpar.

A pleasant area, but the hotel we stayed in was subpar. It was only 25 meters away from a disco where parties and other activities are held until 3 a.m., with DJs and shouting/drunk people on day one—not exactly a pleasant experience. If we had known that, we certainly wouldn't have booked! There are beautiful golf courses nearby and some interesting places.

Ahaus is almost two hours from Dusseldorf.

Ahaus is almost two hours from Dusseldorf. It's a small town with a charming, tidy historic center, typical of Northern Europe, or rather, that part of Germany. There are several restaurants. My trip was a business trip; I had other priorities.

The castle and its park.

The castle and its park. The town itself isn't much to look at. However, a Turkish cafe near the large parking lot is recommended. You can also have a very good breakfast there in the morning, which many tourists did, and the coffee was the best we've ever had. And it's super clean.

It was a nice hotel, but since everything had to be organised with an app and I was not aware about this information, the check in procedure was a bit problematic. App did work properly and the rooms were nice.

I like the modern technology: opening the doors, lighting, TV, curtains. Nice bed. The hotel is designed and owned by a software company.
