I first visited Berlin in 1985. Both sides of the wall.

I first visited Berlin in 1985. Both sides of the wall. So it is always a nostalgic trip. It’s a city that is full of history and has an amazing energy. You can literally feel that history of pride, shame, division, restoration and rebuilding. And some nostalgia for the Cold War! and DDR! Unter den Linden a street of historical romantic Sunday or evening walks and contrasting military marches. There are so many amazing places to eat in the city . This visit, we took breakfast in the revolving TV tower. Worth every euro if the weather is clear. The viewing deck below was really crowded so paying the extra for breakfast and a window seat moving to take the view is the way to do it. Generally we felt safe walking around the often empty streets of the city.

The famous places in Berlin are known for everybody. I like very much to go around to Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag Building, Museum island. Prefer to eat currywust at Under Der Linden. The transport is very convenient.

Attended two performances at the Deutsche Oper, the Reichstag dome (missed on a previous visit and tour). My only disappointment was I had hoped to go to the German Technical Museum but it was closed on the Monday (my last day). I also visited the Kaiser Wilhelm Church and had an enjoyable boat trip with a very competent and friendly commentary.

Well this trip was not so good because I got sick and I was unable to do the things we had planned. But Berlin is great for so many things: KitKat for clubbing, Fotografiska, Helmut Newton Museum and CO for photography, Boxhagener Platz for weekend market, spätis and more.. You'll never get bored.

I really like just walking around, there are many parks in Berlin, many places for children to play and walk your dog. I have travelling to Berlin for 10 years now and I always see something new, every time! There are many second hand stores, which I like. Every time we visit Berlin we eat at the Vietnamese Resturant Lang Xua, at Frankfuter Tor. We also have had a lovely dinner at the Italian Restaurant, Il Pane e la Rose. We went to see Vincent, the Vincent Van Gogh, Immersive Experience. It was really great and I can highly recommend it, very current.

For me without any doubts the best location in Berlin - trendy quarter, close to everything (bars, restaurants, NextBike station, metro, stores) and yet in a very quiet street. Very spacious and comfortable room - especially for this kind of hotel in a city center. We will definitely stay here during our next stay in Berlin.

I wash shocked that a hotel in Berlin, Germany is much cheaper that a hotel in small towns in Poland!!! Everything in "Enjoy Hostel/Hotel Berlin" is at a very high good level. I will come back here for sure! I like the fact that I can speak in English language in this hotel :) Thanks!

Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in in Germany. Didn't feel like a hotel, more like a cosy apartment. Centrally located equipped with everything I needed and staff were so friendly and efficient. Highpark has set the benchmark for all future hotel stays in Germany

The location is perfect for exploring the city centre of Berlin. You can easily walk to the Gouvernement District on the Spree in one direction and in the opposite direction to Alexanderplatz. The staff of the hotel gave a good service.
