A modern hotel located in the centre of Bodman village only minutes walk from the Bodensee (Lake Constance). The surrounding neighbourhood are mostly residential properties and was very quiet & peaceful, especially during the evening. I was welcomed on my arrival and helped with my luggage to my room. The staff were friendly and helpful My room had a balcony with chairs & table that overlooked a small garden. The bed was very comfortable, there was a small fitted refrigerator in the room. There was shower room. I found the hotel to be spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent with good variety. There is on site parking available at no extra cost.

I was very happy that I decided to stay for 2 nights at Seehotel Adler. The location of the hotel was perfect. Especially after the snow, it looked like fairy tale. Spa area is superb and clean. The morning breakfast was wholesome. I would certainly like to stay here in the future again. Unfortunately, I did not have time to try the restaurant. Not to forget, the view from the hotel roof-deck was simply breath taking.

We stayed in hotels before and after sailing, and rented bicycles one day to explore Ṻberlingen, about 10 km away, where there is a beautiful botanical garden. The lake is beautiful with many locations for swimming, many hikes start right from here without having to get into a car, the tourist board gives out free cards for use of tram and bus and some museums and castles as well as a free one-hour boat tour of part of the lake.

Bodman-Ludwigshafen is a village of about 3000 people with a long Lake promenade where you can also go swimming right off the promenade without having to pay. There are different restaurants, many walking routes right out of the village. The small train is convenient right in the village we’re you can get around easily and for free if you get 2 visitors passes from your host. They are also valid for buses and some venues as in museums and castles. The village seems to do a lot to reduce, reuse, recycle ♻️ The views are beautiful and the distance to Austria, Lichtenstein, and Switzerland are short. I love it here.

Bodman-Ludwigshafen is much quieter at the end of October.

Bodman-Ludwigshafen is much quieter at the end of October. We enjoyed it. You can quickly reach Überlingen, Friedrichshafen, or Lindau by train. Konstanz (by ferry) or a side trip to Switzerland are also easily accessible.

Unfortunately, this place is dead quiet, and it feels like the sidewalks are rolled up after 8:30 pm. (Maybe it's different in the summer.) There are three pizzerias that also sell doner kebabs, and for those with a bit more money, there are two or three restaurants right by the lake, plus Borni's Seestüble on the main street—a "village pub" with very good food and reasonable prices.

A nice little place that offers a lot for its guests. Clean. Nice restaurants. The only downside is the often abysmal mobile phone reception – both Vodafone and O2. Therefore, I also signed up for Telekom.

We were warmly welcomed by Konstance, which set the tone for our one-night stay. She was very informative, friendly, and made us feel like she was hosting us in a home she was very proud of. The room was perfect with a sea view, and the private access to the lake via a changing room felt special. We enjoyed a great breakfast and overall, it was an amazing one-night stay that felt refreshing, as if we had been there for an entire weekend. Superb boutique hotel with lake-facing rooms

Location near Bodensee. The name of the city that has been the main reason why we choose to stay there. Hiking pathways close to the hotel. Easy to go eating in some good restaurants. Warm welcome. Should we have need help, the boss reach it, so very helpful person. A nice bakery close to the hotel and a shop with looots of very local treats, foods, beverages.

The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant for the hotel is exceptional. They were kind enough to keep the restaurant open for us to eat as we had a late check in. Thumbs up for the chef. Breakfast was good, good selection. Easy parking with the hotel and walking distance from lake constanze. Stuff was very friendly.

Great place. Located within walking distance from Bodense Lake. We got a studio apartment. Spotless clean. Tasty buffet breakfast. The whole hotel has a lovely, modern feel. We also got a free parking space in the hotel garage.
