Price. Half the price of hotel offerings in the area. Modern clean design, probably new or recently built. Well equipped, there is a small kitchenette with a fridge larger than usual in a motel like this. Bathroom is bigger than expected. It is ideal for transiters who can handle a smartphone and do shopping or booking a room or a flight online. I understand that the price is low because there is no staff on the premises. And you really don't need personal asistance, you just want to get into a room for the night as quick as possible. Brilliant idea! In the US you pay more, sometimes double for a similar motel room which is in many ways several levels below this place

Location perfect, it had everything you needed with extra little touches. Such as a fridge with drinks and snacks for everyone to use and to leave the money honestly. Lovely idea. Very comfortable bed. Lovely shower. Little kitchenette with everything you needed. Definately will be coming back :)

Oh wow… We came for two nights without any expectations and found a true home away from home. This apartment reflects the exceptional quality and care of the owners. Everything is perfectly thought out and equipped down to the smallest detail — things I wouldn’t even have imagined. It is comfortable, intimate, and beautifully designed. There’s even an adjustable bed with remote control, a lovely courtyard with a barbecue, and a fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances. Impeccably clean! What impressed us most was the personal touch: the owners came together, with their son, just to welcome us, shake hands, and make sure we were happy — something I have never experienced before, despite traveling quite a lot. The location is also outstanding: right next to the central church in a peaceful, clean, and quiet area, yet surrounded by plenty of terraces and restaurants. For me, this is the ideal place to stay in Duderstadt, and I wouldn’t change it for anything else. Congratulations to the hosts for such an amazing approach — I truly wish them all the best and lots of success with their rental!

The town is beautiful, with amazing older buildings and...

The town is beautiful, with amazing older buildings and squares. There are several churches that are very nice. We enjoyed our dining experiences in town, particularly enjoyed The Budapest restaurant. There is free parking in the evenings after 5 pm and multiple public parking places where you can park (with automated parking machines) during the day. There are hikes in the area and people were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful city. Extremely friendly people. Only went to one restaurant but it was superb and fantastic value for money. 2 main (1sreak, 1scnitzel),2 drinks for €47. Compared to uk supermarkets well stocked and half the price for fruit and veg, toiletries, etc. Goes to prove how much we are ripped off in uk.

If you like timber-framed buildings, Duderstadt is the place...

If you like timber-framed buildings, Duderstadt is the place for you! Definitely visit the Rathaus and the exhibit they have there. It's inexpensive, you'll learn a bit, and you'll be able to get some truly great views of the city from the top of the Rathaus (don't worry, there's an elevator too)!

A very beautiful city, perfect for people who like half-timbered houses. Right after our arrival, we discovered Sabris Bistro on Apothekenstrasse (Pharmacy Street). Very friendly staff, excellent food. Live music on May 1st. Various events are held there.

The beautifully renovated old town is worth a visit for its lovely half-timbered houses and modern artworks symbolizing the east-west divide. There are lovely restaurants and bakeries for breakfast, and excellent shops for clothes and shoes.

We were invited to Duderstadt for a day.

We were invited to Duderstadt for a day. Parking was excellent near the town center. Many old, yet very beautiful, houses and churches are also worth exploring. You can take long, worthwhile walks.

We really like the setup at Town house Duderstadt. It is very cosy, clean and comfortable and we make great use of the shared kitchen. It is also very close to the centre of town. And this last stay we met the host who is lovely and a very good communicator!
