A quiet place out in a green area, very relaxing. Room size was limited but OK, all very clean. A very friendly team, breakfast with a good choice, each evening (Mon - Thu) a warm meal plus salad and dessert at a very fair price, as the room price is more than fair (especially as room prices in and near Düsseldorf are mostly crazy and over the top during DRUPA exhibition). Clearly recommended!

It is a sweet little town but I would not have gone there if...

It is a sweet little town but I would not have gone there if not for a family occasion. One thing I can recommend is, if you have a mobile phone issue there is a little shop called Handybursche. They were extremely helpful to get my Garmin watch hooked up and charge again and the cable for that fixed - without charge and just trying to help me use my gear. But you can also buy all sorts of iPhone or Android related stuff in the Shop...

We did not do anything in Erkelenz.

We did not do anything in Erkelenz. We were visiting family in the nearby town of Elmpt so we drove there everyday and carried out activities there but we did see numerous bakeries, shops, restaurants on our various routes in and out of Erkelenz.

Very comfortable hotel for a night out in the region. We traveled there to have dinner in a nearby restaurant and we were not looking for anything fancy. This hotel provides what you would expect for a typical small German hotel, a decent bed, good shower and a small restaurant that has a basic but tasty breakfast. Overall it definitely gave what we needed.

Rooms were very clean. beds were very comfortable..we were very tired coming back from Phantasialand. we wake up fresh after a good night sleep. They also have a Indian restaurant attached to the hotel that was beautifully designed and the food was delicious. we really enjoyed our dinner. breakfast was pretty standard.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The concept of the hotel itself is fantastic. The room was immaculately cleaned and had lots of amenities including a nespresso coffee machine. The free ample parking is a bonus. We will definitely return.
