We were in room 'Zen', one of the theme rooms. It meant that the bed was low, Japanese style. Very nicely designed. Good bathroom, a large ceiling fan, and automatic shutters. Good breakfast. An ideal place for a stop-over, just a short distance from two highways.

What I liked most was the hotel itself, as it was new and had details that you often look for in other hotels but don't find. The owners were lovely and incredibly friendly. I can't say anything negative; for me, everything was perfect.

Frickenhausen is located just a few kilometers from Ochsenfurt, directly on the Main River – ideal for hiking and cycling. There are two excellent restaurants and a wine shop where you can find good wine and light snacks. Würzburg is also nearby – definitely worth a visit.

A beautiful little town nestled in the vineyards along the Main River. Hotel Meintzinger and Gasthaus/Weinbar Ehrbar are highly recommended. A walk to the chapel and the "terrior f" viewpoint offers magnificent views.

A very pretty (wine) village on the Main River, totally underrated. Anyone who was actually planning to go to Randersacker should stay here instead and check into the Hotel Meintziger. Sommerhausen is also quite nice, but Frickenhausen has everything.

Unfortunately, there's not much going on in Frickenhausen.

Unfortunately, there's not much going on in Frickenhausen. Just one restaurant, which didn't have a very wide selection of food. However, the location near the Main River is very good. It was fine for us as cyclists on holiday.

I loved the location in Frickenhausen, a beautiful, German medieval walled town, in the heart of a vibrant wine area. The hotel itself was stunning, a really warm and welcoming atmosphere, with beautiful features, wonderful wine, and food. The room was really cosy, with a very comfortable bed and its own balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the decorations were very interesting!

Breakfast was excellent – everything I usually eat at home was available: good coffee, scrambled eggs, cheese and cold cuts, toast, yogurts, fruits, and vegetables. A really nice start to the day. The location wasn’t crucial for us since we had a car. Frickenhausen is a small, quiet, and cozy town, and they make great wine here. Overall, a pleasant stay!
