Very convenient location within the town and for access to the region. Very clean, everything necessary for the stay was provided, there even are some books, family games and children’s books. The owner lives next door and is a very kind lady who will go the extra mile to make a stay memorable. In our case she brought us home made Christmas cookies when we told her it was our daughter‘s birthday during our stay and on another occasion she left small presents for both kids on St. Nikolaus night.

Bit sad the bar and restaurant was closed ..we had driven 7 hrs, and just wanted a couple drinks and a nice meal. However ... the whole town was partying in the streets in a festival ..so ..tired as we were ..we just went and joined in. Lovely place ..lovely people ( especially the charming breakfast lady with the ex boyfriend from Chelmsford ) ..🧡

The friendly owners who left fresh flowers, wine and beer, plus a bowl of fresh fruit - amazing. They willingly heated our supermarket oven baked bread as there is no oven in the apartment. They also froze goods for us as there wasn’t a freezer. The kitchen is large with lots of bench space, including the sideboard. The lounge room has the most comfortable sofa and armchairs. It was always quiet, which was excellent for sleeping.

The decor was that of an old authentic German hotel yet the bathroom was updated and the food was very good. Healthy daily buffet breakfasts. Outside patio in warmer weather. Warm and friendly staff.
