In a word: Wow! What a wonderful experience. The hospitality, the spacious rooms and shower. And the food, oh my god... One of the best dinners we've ever had. The truffle sauce of the fillet steak was heavenly, and the halibut was cooked to prefection. The generous breakfast was also delicious. We cannot wait to return to Kamino in our next visit to the Black Forest!

From the moment I stepped foot into the tranquil oasis, I was greeted with a sense of serenity that immediately transported me into a state of pure relaxation. The spa itself was exquisitely designed, with soothing colors, soft lighting, and a calming ambiance that created the perfect atmosphere for indulging in much-needed rejuvenation. The attention to detail was impeccable, evident in every aspect of the spa, from the plush robes and slippers provided to the gentle melodies playing in the background. The range of treatments offered was simply outstanding. Whether you're seeking a blissful massage to ease away tension and knots or a revitalizing facial to revive your skin's natural glow, the spa's skilled therapists catered to every need with expertise and care. Their professionalism and knowledge of various techniques ensured that each treatment was tailored to my specific preferences, leaving me feeling utterly pampered and renewed. One standout feature of the spa was its state-of-the-art facilities. The relaxation areas boasted comfortable loungers where I could unwind between treatments, and the sauna and steam rooms provided a blissful retreat for detoxifying and invigorating the senses. I particularly enjoyed the tranquil swimming pool, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a serene view that added to the overall tranquility of the experience. Hotel is good 3-star and it is slowly getting into age.

Hotel is good 3-star and it is slowly getting into age. Pool is the main selling point, including the view from it. In the morning pool was mostly empty, in the evening there were more people and children jumping and making noise. Breakfast was good with decent buffet. Our french bed was not very comfortable and a bit narrow for two people (140cm or so I guess). Hotel is located on the main mountain road with quite a bit of traffic and we read in the previous reviews that people complained about noise. Hotel responded that it is possible to book more quite rooms so we asked for this kind of room. From the photos, I was convinced that all rooms have view, however this is not the case. Our room looked to the second hotel building and the room patio was basically on the edge of a parking lot, so our view was to the parked cars. We asked for a room change, but they told us they were fully booked. Dinner in the restaurant we didn´t try as it was a bit on the higher price range. Greek restaurant in front of the big church in St. Blasien (village 2km away) was very good and 30-40% cheaper. Anyway, location is convenient to explore high Black Forest, 20-30min drive from Feldberg, lakes (Titisee, Schluchsee), waterfalls etc..

This was such a perfect place to say. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and arranged for me to have dinner in the restaurant even with my dogs. The room was clean and beautifully decorated with a lovely little courtyard garden. Dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicious and again, is beautifully decorated. I was right near to walks in the Black Forest. I was sad to only be staying one night as I was passing through on my journey. I would highly recommend everything about this hotel and the restaurant.

A quiet location in Häusern. A friendly welcome from Ruth, the owner, who speaks excellent English. Good food and a spacious room with large balcony. A Konus travel card was provided giving free travel on local transport.
