Coming off the ferry in Travemünde at night,it's an easy and short drive to the location. While there's no staff,all information and late check-in was handled digitally; convenient and smooth. The room was spacious and clean.

Good location near the Old Town and Gates. Parking garage inside the yard - looks that very rare option in Lübeck centre. Helpful staff, excellent breakfast. Self cooked waffles with cherryes. Well equipped and nice designed room. 20 minutes to drive from/to Skandinavienkai ferry terminal. Really cosy and nice Hotel!

The service was wonderful and kind. The room had many nice characteristics and it was spacious. It included also, well organised and practical solutions for clothes and all your other personal belongings. Location near the canals as well as restaurants and old town main square made it easy to take short breaks during the day and still see the many attractions of Lübeck. Sanctuary in heart of the old town. Definitely coming back!

The hotel was absolutely PERFECT! - It is location very near the attractions but in a quiet area - Each floor the hotel has areas that the guests can use: a nice lobby, a reading room, etc - The hotel is beautiful decorated with a lot of attention to details. - The room was super spacious and the balcony was amazing - The breakfast was AMAZING and service was super nice.

Sparkling clean and cozy, really nice design and equipped with everything you might need! Our main reason for choosing this hotel was because we had an early train in the morning and the train station is right across the street, literally one minute away. However, it is also quite close to the city center, about 10 minutes walk. Our stay here was short, however very pleasant! We're definitely staying here next time, too.

I like almost everything in this hotel and would definitely recommend it. However, if there's anything I would suggest, I would say that if the shower curtain could be upgraded to a glass door, then this hotel would certainly have a 4/5 star standard in the room!

Herrnburg is located right next to Lübeck, so we were able...

Herrnburg is located right next to Lübeck, so we were able to easily cycle into the city. Shopping (Edeka and Aldi) is convenient in Herrnburg, right by the train station. The accommodation is situated in a very diverse residential area, incredibly quiet and close to nature.

The landlord couple didn't even bother to say goodbye when we left; on the contrary, they pressured us around 10:20 (vacation deadline 10:00) to know when we were finally going to leave, as the apartment had to be vacated by 10:00. With a paralyzed wife, things don't go so smoothly. How should I interpret this: stupidity or a lack of character?

Lübeck is right next door, so you have everything you need. Herrnburg is a small town, but there are plenty of grocery stores. As it was a border town, it has an interesting history.

Herrnburg is a small town on the outskirts of Lübeck and, for me, a great base for exploring Lübeck, Lübeck Bay, and the surrounding area. Herrnburg has a very well-stocked Edeka supermarket with a bakery. You can get a good and reasonably priced breakfast there. The café-restaurant offers a very exclusive breakfast, except on Mondays.
