The Chateau was so much more than we expected and the staff was incredibly friendly. The room and grounds are 5 star. There is a very nice restaurant on the property which was completely unexpected.

For us, historical sights are the most important reason for a visit. The section of the city wall in the west is very well preserved, and the churches and castle are worth a visit, as is the entire old town ensemble.

Isny as a town has declined in quality compared to our last visit. The surrounding countryside is still beautiful, of course, and there are endless opportunities for hiking and cycling. The restaurant at the Hotel Bären is highly recommended. For a more rustic dining experience, try the Haldenhof.

Isny is a small town with a city wall and historic buildings, several churches, a castle with exhibitions, a spa, a park, and many nice restaurants. It's manageable in size. The location is ideal for relaxation and walks.

A beautiful region for anyone who enjoys hiking and being...

A beautiful region for anyone who enjoys hiking and being outdoors. I was there to relax and enjoy cycling. I cycled many kilometers on my road bike and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I hope you too will enjoy this region and its churches, chapels, and other attractions.

Isny is a lovely little town.

Isny is a lovely little town. Its proximity to Lake Constance is a real plus. Nearby in Salem is the Monkey Mountain, a must-see if you're in the area. Also close by are the beautiful Alpsee lake and Germany's longest summer toboggan run. Parking there costs only €3 all day. Kempten and Füssen are also within easy reach. We'll be back!

We liked the accommodation, large room and bathroom, powerful shower, very comfortable bed and overall good quality furnishings and toiletries. The gardens and property are well maintained, and the restaurant, despite being located in a separate hotel, offers very good food at a reasonable price. The app is informative and helpful, and the WiFi worked well.

The location is amazing, it's peaceful and green. It's around an hour from the Schloss Neuschwanstein so not bad! The staff is incredibly friendly and flexible. I can only recommend this cute space. Also, they are renovating and making their hotel bigger and with spa,... so it will be even better I believe.
