This was simply great! The property was nearly empty, so the owner let us have a whole apartment to ourselves for the price of a hostel room. The amenities are great, everything is available, including sheltered parking for the bikes (and cars). The breakfast option was excellent as well.

The hotel has a fantastic lakeside location. Our room was compact but clean, bathroom was very small but the shower was good. We had a room with a lake view which was nice. We were asked to pay €20 in advance for breakfast so ate breakfast at Nordischer Hof hotel 5 mins walk in the little town. There also a bakery in town. We ate dinner at our hotel and the food was average. The hotel is in need of some renovations as looks a little worn but overall we had a pleasant stay and our bicycles were safely stored.

Really impressive old house with large and pretty gardens. Even some wandering deer that we watched from the balcony. You get free-range around the house and gardens, and everything was nicely equipped. The kitchen was good enough, but surprisingly ordinary for the grandiose room in which it is placed (obviously a room originally without a kitchen, and this kitchen was placed in the corner for rental purposes). Overall an outstanding experience, and we would have been happy to stay for much longer.

This small city is a bit boring.

This small city is a bit boring. Nothing really to do escept for walking in the nature but I didn't explore everything during my short stay. The center is lovely, multiple grocery shopping oportunities are available. However, restaurants were closed and all of them had a weird opening hours that makes life difficult if you are hungry.

The Seehotel Krakow am See has been closed since the end of...

The Seehotel Krakow am See has been closed since the end of 2023!!! Why was it still bookable via Booking.com and why weren't we informed about the closure? As a result, we arrived with our bikes during peak season to find the doors locked and had to scramble to find somewhere else to stay.

The natural surroundings are very beautiful, the place has potential and can certainly offer relaxation. However, the local restaurants and ice cream parlors are far too expensive, and the value for money is not adequate.

Quiet location with a terrace and lawn leading directly to the lake. Television reception isn't ideal, as it's via satellite. The box-spring beds in both bedrooms are surprisingly comfortable for people with back problems. Unfortunately, there are hardly any restaurants nearby; the nearest ones are in Malchow or Waren.

Unfortunately, outside of peak season, the oven was either closed or only opened at 5 pm. We were there in April and not a single café or ice cream parlor was open, even though Google said they should have been. The only thing open was the bakery inside the Edeka supermarket, which also had very good coffee.

We brought our bikes and did a few circular rides.

We brought our bikes and did a few circular rides. Unfortunately, the bike paths aren't well developed. You either end up riding on the road very often or on relatively challenging forest trails. The selection of restaurants is relatively limited, but all the ones we find are highly recommended.
