This is not a corporately-owned hotel, and you can tell. It simply felt more human and less business-orientated. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and we had a highly enjoyable stay. Breakfast was very good, with a buffet of everything you might possibly want. The Germans are good at breakfast, and if you looked carefully, you could even find hot bacon, sausages and scrambled egg as well as fresh bread rolls, ham, cheese, salami and suchlike. There's also a good selection of teas, with a kettle to hand to make sure the water really is boiling. That's a huge step up on most hotels on the Continent. One to keep, I think.

We were arriving late and hotel staff contacted us and gave instructions how to get in. The breakfast was excellent with very nice collection of different varieties. The room was cozy and clean. Bed was very good. All in all, we liked everything.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and the staff were as always, polite and friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with a big and varied selection. Nice clean room, comfortable bed, good shower, friendly staff, easy access. It is beside a service station so we were a bit concerned about the lack of secure parking for our motorbike. However it was very quiet at night so no problem.
