This is a great hotel with friendly and efficient staff. The food in the restaraunt has improved markedly post covid and I can wholeheartedly recommend the Chateaubriand. Breafast is of good quality and size and other breakfast dishes are available on request. The chef and dining room staff were excellent

The apartment was very clean, freshly aired out and in a quiet area. It was in a tiny town, nestled in the hills a very short drive to Kulmbach. The owner was very sweet, helpful, responded quickly and spoke excellent English (which made communication easy). The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. We are bookmarking this place and would definitely stay here again, if we are road-tripping to southern Europe or exploring Bavaria. Highly recommend.
