Everything was fine. We arrived late, but the access to the room was easy. The room is very spacious and cosy. The place is a bit far from the main highway, but it provides wonderful rest at the very reasonable price. We will be glad to stay there on our next trip through Germany.

Good breakfast, comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean. No fresh air in the room when it rains, no mosquito screens. Everything is old, but clean. No secure Wi-Fi. The restaurant is closed. More than adequate for one night.

It's okay for two nights, but a holiday in Marne would not...

It's okay for two nights, but a holiday in Marne would not be an option for us, as despite our relatively advanced age (65/71) we need more hustle and bustle and sunshine, and that kind of thing can only be found in Southern Europe.

It gets quiet very early in the evenings, and on weekends...

It gets quiet very early in the evenings, and on weekends the few restaurants close by midnight at the latest. There are some lovely sights to see, Marne has its own brewery, and you can get the beer in many places. Since our hotel unfortunately no longer had its own restaurant, we had to eat out every day, but that wasn't a problem.
