The moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt like I had entered another world. Every corner, adorned with stunning architecture and vintage details, seemed to be lost in time. The warm, intimate atmosphere spread a sense of tranquility that touched my soul. No matter how tired I was, I was captivated by the magic of this place. But there was one issue... I had made a reservation mistake when I arrived at the hotel. It was my fault. However, the team was so kind and helpful that they found an immediate solution. This showed me just how powerful sincerity and helpfulness can be. The warm smiles on everyone’s faces and Christin’s wonderful attitude made this hotel something entirely different. My time was limited, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I wished I could stay longer. The peace I found in the attic room was indescribable. When I looked out the window, I felt like I was in the middle of a fairytale. Far from the city, there was only the serenity of nature. The vintage touches in the room transported me to past times. It even reminded me of Anne from the show Anne with an E. After breakfast, strolling through the garden was a unique experience. Surrounded by the colors of autumn, this area felt like a dream. With every step, watching the dance of nature was the essence of peace. The flavors I tasted in the restaurant were like a door opening to another world. A vegetarian breakfast not only satisfied my taste buds but nourished my soul as well. But then, I couldn’t help but realize how quickly time had passed, and when it was time to leave, I found myself in a very emotional moment. As I said goodbye to the hotel, my eyes filled with tears. Because this wasn’t just a hotel; I had become a part of it. It was a place that nourished my soul, transported me to another world, and carried a new story in every corner. As I left, I knew that the traces of that warm atmosphere would stay with me for a long time. Thank you for everything. I will return one day.

The property is pretty and quite new. One of the owners was nice enough to welcome us from the parking lot. They don’t have a lot of rooms, but each room is big and newly renovated so it’s perfect for people who don’t like crowds. The room was quite comfortable although I do wonder how it would be in summer because I didn’t notice air conditioning - our room had sound proof windows but when the window was opened, it got pretty loud. We could hear everything happening on the road. If you’re visiting Schloss Wackerbarth - this is the hotel that brings you the closest to the winery so you actually get crazy drunk and not have to worry about crawling back to your room cause it’s pretty close.

Spitzhaus is simply wonderful! Beautiful on the outside and the inside, with very friendly and helpful staff and owners. You can really tell this is a family owned and run business. The food Ia exquisite, the wines are local and so well chosen. The atmosphere is relaxed and elegant. The rooms spacious and comfortable. We loved this place and will be back!

Pros We enjoyed our stay here fuss free. Travelled with our daughter, she was ecstatic to receive a small plushie toy gift. Easy, secured parking. Staffs are friendly. Good breakfast, but there was low occupancy when we stayed, so only cold options. The usual cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, cereals, yoghurt, fruits. Excellent coffee. Good sized room, bed is comfortable, albeit quite low, and pillows too soft

Beautiful castle and nice walking to the lighthouse on the lake. The town is small with beautifull "allee" to the castle. No problem with parking. There are some good restaurants and everything is close. Also Missen is close and nice to visit.

Fantastic location! 7 minutes walking to the great Moritzburg Castle. Definitely a Must see location. Recommend to book at least 2 hours and take the internal ticket tour. The restaurant is great and very tasty. The prices are very reasonable. Very nice view from our room, looking like an eco-touristic place, clean fresh air. The room was really clean, hovewer the bathroom was a bit old.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, free parking. Large comfortable room. You can walk to the Moritzburg Castle and walk round the forest which has different walking routes. I would highly recommend

Cozy and comfortable small hotel. Own parking. Not far (10 minutes walk) from Moritzburg Castle. I recommend this hotel.
