A beautiful old town with its stunning churches and remarkably well-preserved city walls. Outside the city, there are excellent hiking opportunities, as well as the Bratwurst Museum, which is also well worth a visit. And of course, let's not forget the Thuringian cuisine! Simply delicious!

Perhaps the hoteliers, together with the town council, could persuade the church owner to stop ringing the bells at night. It robs you of sleep and ruins your precious vacation days. I don't know which church it was. I was staying at the Mühlhäuser Hof, and it wasn't far from there.

What a fantastic city! We were here for the fair.

What a fantastic city! We were here for the fair. The people are so friendly. The fair is amazing. We'll be back – Mühlhausen – we promise! The city is truly beautiful – so many stunning buildings and churches. We highly recommend this city. You should definitely plan to spend some time here, though; one or two days aren't enough to see everything.

It was an educational trip.

It was an educational trip. Mühlhausen, a city of the German Peasants' War, boasts two important museums dedicated to this topic. The Thuringian State Exhibition on this subject is currently on display. Furthermore, Mühlhausen offers other interesting museums and sights and is centrally located in a region with further attractions.

Mühlhausen is a very beautiful and well-maintained city steeped in history. A guided city tour is highly recommended, allowing you to explore the sights again on foot. Ideally, you should stay in the old town. There's no shortage of shopping opportunities.

Highly recommended, especially this year because of the very successful exhibitions commemorating the 500th anniversary of the Peasants' War. The Werra Valley and the Hainich National Park are beautiful destinations in terms of scenery.

Very lovely hotel/hostel (functions as somewhere in between) in quaint old building, wooden beams and all! It is very well located right in the centre of Muhlhausen, a beautiful town in the heart of Germany. The decor inside is very nice and traditional, and the room was very comfortable. If I were to visit Muhlhausen again, I'd definitely return here as I really enjoyed my stay.

The hotel had everything we wanted, and a bit more: The gym (not just a fitness room) was outstanding - as good as any commercial gym. Worth coming back for! Breakfast was good, and there was plenty of parking.
