We loved staying here. We arrived in the middle of the night, had no issue getting in. The beds are very comfortable and large, there is lots of open space, and everything was immaculately clean. We wished we could stay longer and will return for sure. The host was lovely, quick to respond and easy going. Would highly recommend to all!

Whilst initial impressions may not appear promising,...

Whilst initial impressions may not appear promising, Nordhausen does have a pretty old town, some interesting museums and galleries and pleasant parks. It is also a very compact city with many of the main attractions easily reached on foot. It also has a small tram system which is useful for getting about. Pleased be advised that there is not much in the way of night life, there is a theatre and cinema and a few good restaurants and bars but not much else happening at night.

Nordhausen is a more interesting town than you might think.

Nordhausen is a more interesting town than you might think. Most of it had to be rebuilt in the communist style after WW2, but there is still an old quarter with cobbled streets and timber framed houses which was restored and the contrasts between the two are interesting to see. Couple of nice parks as well. Barfuss restaurant in the old town is nice. Town is southern terminus of the Harz narrow gauge railway - well worth a trip. City centre fairly compact for walking around.

Restaurant and checkin area was very nice. Outdoor tables and chairs and bathrooms in the restaurant area were really nice. The breakfast selection was excellent. Staff were very friendly and accomodating even though there was a language barrier, parking right behind the hotel was easy to access although was unaware there was an extra charge for parking. If travelling by train or bus this is next to railway station. Id say this would be one of the better hotels in the township. Supermarket was across the road just a short walk away.

Innovative hotel with a lot of amenities close to the Autobahn exit. Good for 1 night but has all the amenities for a long term stay as well. Large, clean and fancy new rooms with a kitchen plus big refrigerator surprisingly. Do make sure to check in remotely before you reach. It is no fun to scamper around in front of the door to get all the details in if you are in a hurry to hit the bed.

This is a nice hotel, second time I have stayed here. Friendly welcome and staff all pleasant. I had quite a small room but perfectly adequate and comfortable. Even if you are on the main road side of the hotel the soundproof windows work well. Good breakfast spread, and if you don’t feel like going into town to eat they do a nice pizza! Well placed for the station about 500/600 metres away.

The apartment was located in the old town with a beautiful view of Nordhausen. It was in a quiet location within easy reach of shops and restaurants . The apartment was very well equipped and the host was very helpful and friendly . We absolutely recommend this apartment and would happily stay there again.
