The room was clean, with nothing unnecessary. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were fresh. That's all you need for an overnight stay. The staff at the reception were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was quite nice, with plenty of food. The coffee was delicious. The cafeteria, where breakfast was served, was very well designed, with great furniture and an excellent view from the window. Overall, the hotel left a very pleasant impression. Thank you!

We stayed in the suite which was outstanding. Loved how the suite was decorated, the rooms were a great size and it was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and a really good shower/bath. It has it's own restaurant and wine cellar (with a very extensive wine list!) and we had a delicious Cote De Boeuf, probably our favourite meal of our entire trip. The gentleman serving us gave us some great information about the local butcher who provides the beef and it felt like an experience rather than just a meal. It also has a cafe for the morning. The staff were very friendly and were always happy to help us. We only stayed here one night as a stopover, but we wish we had stayed longer. The location is also great, around 10 minutes from the train station, which is a 45 minute train journey from Triberg in the Black Forest.
