This was a beautifully restored farmhouse that had been originally been built in 1720. The current owner was the sixth generation and he had spent 15 years renovating. He was obviously a true craftsman and took pride in what he had done. The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating and I heartily recommend this tranquil location if you are in the area. There was a grocery store nearby (10 minutes by bike) and we took advantage of the kitchen in order to prepare our meals. There was a vending machine at the property with beer and local wine as well as some local specialties.
