This place is perfect for shorter or longer stay. Although we stayed there just for 1 night, I would love to visit Pension Scherzer again. The landlady was very nice and helpful. She welcomed us warmly with a huge smile. The room was spacious, cozy, had 3 beds and a private bathroom. Outside the building there is a place to sit and chill. Pension Scherzer is about 30 km from Budziszyn, 30 km from Dresden and 40 km from Bastei Bridge. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, who is looking for nice place in chilling neighbourhood.

The location is in a small, quiet, and safe town. I loved the apartment’s decoration. The wall colours and bathroom made me feel at home. I might not have read the description carefully, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a community kitchen. It was very well equipped and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. So, bring your grosseries there is almost nothing to buy food around but you will find a fridge for your stuff.

A very quiet place, actually, with two popular restaurants...

A very quiet place, actually, with two popular restaurants offering delicious meals in the evenings. It's certainly very well-suited as a starting point for cycling tours. In our case, we also used it as a base for day trips to Dresden and Saxon Switzerland.

A lovely, quiet place to relax.

A lovely, quiet place to relax. I can't say much about Ohorn itself, as our stay was related to a visit to the Pulsnitz rehabilitation clinic. However, we particularly enjoyed the location right on the lake; it must be a wonderful place to spend a few days in the summer!

The accommodation is located in the woods, very quiet even...

The accommodation is located in the woods, very quiet even though the A4 motorway is nearby. Perfect for taking your dog directly into the forest. Pulsnitz, Bautzen, and Dresden are all within about 30 km. The Hotel Luchsenburg offers rustic, but very good food.

A very comfortable hotel, well located, with a wonderful, balanced breakfast that left you feeling truly satisfied. The attached restaurant has excellent cuisine. Reservations are recommended. One drawback is its proximity to the highway, which makes it noisy outside the hotel. However, this is an advantage if you plan on taking day trips.

We were only there for an overnight stay.

We were only there for an overnight stay. We received a very friendly welcome and lacked nothing. We were given recommendations for places to refuel, good restaurants for dinner, and even a warning about a speed camera on the way there. I can't recommend it for a longer holiday, but for that one night, there was nothing to complain about.
