We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at Hotel Wessel. The hosts were lovely and caring. They found time to chat with us and made us feel like family. They greeted us with a glass of local beer. The guesthouse and the restaurant were nicely decorated with interesting antique items. Almost like being in a museum! The facilities were clean and comfortable. Local specialties served. The room had everything you might possibly need during your stay. The breakfast was delicious.

Very attractive staff. They always open to help you in any case: you require a toothbrush, consultation about local German things, anything. I have got robbed in the hotel, but everybody reacted immediately, and provided all possible help and stopped the atackers. There is also very tasty kitchen below, they even open to cook something for you and pack that you can eat at the night. They are also not expensive, and even in that case you could receive discounts. Airport is also very close from here.

We were a bit late in getting to the property after being tied up in traffic and Kirsten waited for us so we could check in. The room had a fridge and there was a little kitchen area with a sink and a kettle. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet and restful at night. The hotel is only about 20 minutes from Cologne. The Gamescom festival was on in Cologne from Aug. 20-24, 2025 and hotel rates in town were high. Zimmer for You was a very good alternative.

A peaceful nice place and free parking for holiday stays. Forest just behind the hotel. Indoor swimming pool and gym room on the ground floor, so don't forget to bring your outdoor, swimming and sports clothing if you plan to stay there. Room was very clean with necessary stuffs. Bed and pillow were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Staffs at front desk were very nice and helpful. Very recommended.

very nice quiet hotel outside the city. Spacious parking. Rooms are not that big, but still cosy and well equipped. There is all you might need at the hotel - swimming pool, sauna, quite functional gym, electric bikes to rent, charging stations for electric cars. Hotel is sorrounded by a huge forest which gices some options for hiking or biking.
