Cozy charm overlooking the Rhine river and vineyards. Staff friendly and helpful, parking easy. A great escape to the peaceful countryside after a busy day exploring Rüdesheim. Close enough that you can walk into town. Dinner was delicious, doesn’t get any better with the stunning outlook. Added bonus self serve tea/coffee/wine available to purchase outside our room. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

The location is just a few minutes walk from the town centre. Parking was right outside the entrance. The hosts welcomed us, explained the breakfast menu, a lot which was freshly made by the owner. There is a lift available, every where so clean and well presented, an honesty fridge at reception with beer, wine and snacks available to enjoy in your room. Our room was so comfortable, clean, kettle with tea and coffee provided. Dressing gowns in the wardrobe, tissues etc.

We liked everything. Even the bathroom scale. The room was fantastic. The dinner and breakfast was better than fantastic. The beds were comfortable. The duvets were just right.

The location was good. The look of the hotel is so pretty. The food was very good. Both the breakfast and dinner. Room was comfortable and very clean. We were very glad that we booked a parking spot. Staff was very friendly.

The breakfast was excellent with a lot of options. The rooms had AC and great Wi-Fi. we had a room for three, and it was very spacious Definitely visit the Weinstand across the street which has surprisingly good, locally made wine.

It is a great town with lots to do along the Rhine.

It is a great town with lots to do along the Rhine. If you are looking for something less sleepy and has more shopping, restaurants and winery this is a great option. All ferries/cruises stop here so it is easy to get to as well. One thing to note is that it gets crowded with the larger river cruises stop for the day or night but we didn't mind as it added a fun energy to the town and the shops were open.

The town is a tourist magnet, but for those who know the Rheingau also a Mecca, neighbouring Gesienheim has the University where many Rheingau wine makers will have studied. The whole Rheingau is within reach, the steep Rüdesheim vineyards above the town are wonderful and peaceful for walking, those with less energy can take the chairlift. We tried the Spanish restaurant near the Bahnhof and Breuer's Schloss restaurant opposite (4 metres away) from the Hotel Lindenwirt where we stayed and also ate and drank. They had some nice (think craft) alco free beers.

I came to Rüdesheim for peace and quiet and beautiful scenery, and I was not disappointed! I did observe that the tourist crowd tends toward older people. The Drosselgasse can get quite lively during the evening, but on a Monday night, the whole town seems to shut down around 10pm. This may not be an ideal vacation hotspot for the young, hip, 20-30-something crowd, but if you are looking for natural beauty, local history, and a nice, quiet, chill community to spend a few days, then I'd definitely recommend Rüdesheim!

We love this location.

We love this location. It was on the side of the Ryan river with mountains and castles located close by. There was a number of good shops and cafes and a lovely cable car ride to the top of the mountain which increased the views. We would recommend this town and location for Travelers to go to at any time.

For a small town on the river Rhein, Rusdesheim offers a good choice of bars, restaurants and cafes, as well as attractions including the chair lift to the Niederwald Monument. Easy to walk around with good public transport connections by river or rail. Prices for food and drink are still reasonable, considering the volume of tourist traffic the town receives.

Went to rudesheim with friends a couple of years ago and just loved it. So booked again for this year. It’s not too big - apart from the Xmas market lots of lovely shops and restaurants. Right on the Rhine as the name suggests and lovely river cruise up to the lorelei and back. The ski lift is well worth a trip - especially at night. Thursday to Sunday gives enough time.

Hotel Hohn is ideally located in rudesheim. The staff had very little English but were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable with fantastic black out blinds. No tea or coffee making facilities but at the price for the room I wouldn’t complain as it was still great value for money

The restaurant area and lobby has a lot of character and fits perfectly into the town village of Rudesheim. It is conveniently situated in the center of town, close to the cable car, restaurants, shops and boat exercusions

In general a nicer apartment than the pictures showed. Very clean and a good size for 2 people. It was dog friendly. A short walk to main Rüdesheim and you could park your car for free on the road outside.
