The hotel has its own parking, belonging to the hotel. We arrived just before the kitchen closed (9.30 p.m) but could still get a very nice schnitzel dinner. Food and drinks were very good. Our family room was comfortable, clean and beds and pillows were great, we had a very good nights sleep. But the very best was the breakfast!!! It had everything we needed, tasty fresh bread, juices, hot drinks, cheese, ham, youghurt, müsli, fruit and vegetables. And all served very nicely in the cozy restaurant.

The accommodation was incredibly beautiful, and the peaceful surroundings were exactly what we needed. The facilities inside were perfect, and having the car park right outside was a huge convenience. Getting to Freiburg was easy by train and bus as well. We would highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay with kids. Our host Simon was extremely helpful with directions , places to eat and ofcourse making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay memorable.

There are a lot of things we like about this hotel: - It’s pet friendly. They provide bed, bowls and even a treat for your dog. - The rooms are huge, well designed and clean. We especially love how the bathrooms are designed. - The maxi bar is great to get coffee, tea or other beverages/snacks. It’s especially useful if you travel with a baby, like we do, because in it you’ll find a microwave and cutlery too. Fresh water is also always available. - It’s very convenient to have both the restaurant and the shop just outside the hotel. Both sell excellent products. - If you travel with kids, they have an outdoor playground. - The location is very convenient, less than 10 minutes from the highway, which makes it a great hotel for a one night stop en route. - We did not try breakfast since we left very early in the morning, but they provide a breakfast to go if you ask for it the day before.

The hotel and location are very cute, the staff was so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing (special plus for salmon and freshly made omelette), the room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. I will definitely go there again if I return to this area.

Very clean, family-run hotel. Excellent food. We ate in the restaurant both nights - many local dishes on offer. Excellent breakfast. Free on-site parking. A short walk to the train station with regular connections to Freiburg and Basel.
