This hotel has been full renovated , elegant British style , I like very much! the Hoel located direct at the lake ( really a big lake not small pool), I might be the one of the few first guest after their new open, you still can smell fresh air, I booed a room with Lakeview, its amazing ! walk to the lake take 1-2 mins. its a single silent location . the breakfast is more than rich , service is also top. "THIS HOTEL IS THE BEST ONE IN HARZ", for sure I will come back again!

Nice hotel next to a historical tavern/ restaurant. I would have liked to try the restaurant, which was looking very nice, but I arrived very late and I only stayed there for 1 night to take a break from driving. The location is convenient, the room was quite big, bathroom was fine, and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't try breakfast because I wanted to continue my journey. Also, a supermarket is very close, pretty much around the next corner. Summary: great value for money!

I spend half of my life traveling, and I dont review often, but this time I have to... All was REALLY good, owners are so friendly they speak very good English. I had no problem with check in. Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good, maybe they should add fried eggs or scramble eggs. They have a pro coffe maschine like in big hotels! Also the free parking is big enough you can come with a large Van.

Very good experience in this hotel, we got the appartment which is very clean, large and comfortable with separate space for living room and for bedroom. The owner is super friendly and even offered to call taxi for us or bring us to the station (we don't have a car). The breakfast is very good too.
