The surroundings and hotel atmosphere were very pleasant, with an interesting contrast between the classical exterior and the modern interior. A clean and comfortable room was provided. A really good hotel in beautiful gardens and a short walk into the centre. The staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. Our room on the 3rd floor was a great size and so comfortable. We had an issue with the air on in the first room (316) and the staff quickly & efficiently moved us to 311. The windows open which was good and the hotel rooms are soundproofed so we had a great night’s sleep. Lastly the breakfast was incredible as was the car parking.

Extremely friendly and accommodating staff from reception over restaurant staff and at breakfast. There is a practical back entrance door to the back car park. Plenty of parking. Very dog friendly including a dog bed, treats and a poo bag. Dogs can come with the owners for breakfast at dedicated tables and to the spacious outdoor area. Air conditioning was great! This is a really good hotel 4 star standard. Kettle is in the room with a selection of teas/coffee.
