The location is perfect! We enjoyed being able to walk across the square to the town hall, church, and castle. The breakfast was nice and we liked being able to shop in the store. The room was very comfortable and the house was overall beautiful and interesting.

Great environment. The kids had a great time feeding the goats with tree leaves, watching little cows, feeling the countryside. Besides, the room was perfect, fully equipped. And the family running the business, so adorable. A great experience!!!!!!

Fabulous welcome, staff look really happy and work as a team. The room was spotless and the bed extremely good quality with excellent bedding in the heat. Dinner was of exceptional quality. Great ambience in the beergarden as well as the restaurant.

Such a nice welcome from both people I dealt with at the front desk. Petra stood out as caring, efficient and hard working. Very helpful. Bfast looked fantastic, but I chose to do without.

There's a good ice cream parlor in Steinau an der Straße. Otherwise, it's pretty dead. The towns of Schlüchtern, Bad Soden-Salmünster, Bad Orb, and Bad Brückenau, in my opinion, have more interesting things to offer.

The region and the town of Steinau an der Straße are enchantingly beautiful and definitely worth a visit. There is still much to discover in the area, and hiking in nature is highly recommended.

Steinau is very interesting because of the Brothers Grimm, who lived there and wrote their fairy tales. The museum is excellently presented. The Dalí exhibition in the town hall is worth seeing. The residents are very polite. However, the selection of pubs is very limited.

The house is in a quiet location with friendly staff, a good breakfast, and excellent value for money. The proximity (by car) to the thermal baths of Bad Soden-Salmünster and Bad Orb was ultimately the deciding factor for me.

Steinau an der Straße is a historic town (the Brothers Grimm...

Steinau an der Straße is a historic town (the Brothers Grimm lived here, among others) near Fulda, offering the opportunity to visit other interesting tourist destinations, the Spessart, and the Rhön mountains. There are also excellent farm shops, some specializing in game.

I chose Steinau for my overnight stay because I enjoy rural...

I chose Steinau for my overnight stay because I enjoy rural accommodations... and this place was perfect. It's also not far from the spa town of Bad Soden-Salmünster, which has a very nice thermal bath. There's a guesthouse near the apartment where we had a very good meal.
