Templin stands out positively from the other small towns in the Uckermark region, firstly because of its location, but also because it is not as dilapidated as, for example, Zehdenick or the also excellently situated Lychen.

Templin is a very beautiful small town.

Templin is a very beautiful small town. Clean with very friendly residents. Everything is there – cafes, restaurants, ice cream parlors, and shopping opportunities. The cycle paths and the corresponding signage are particularly commendable. Excursions to places like El Dorado or the town of Lychen, with a raft trip, are highly recommended. The thermal baths were especially lovely – perfect for children.

Beautifully restored city walls with city gates. The surrounding area boasts many nature reserves that can be explored on foot or by bicycle. Canals and lakes can be explored by canoe or kayak, which can be rented at reasonable prices.

Templin has so much to see.

Templin has so much to see. Just the almost completely intact city wall, the museum of local history, the beautiful lake (about 10 km long) that you can walk around, the natural thermal baths with sauna, and the other lakes and forests in the surrounding area. We think Templin goes to great lengths to offer its guests something special!

Templin is a very beautiful, small, and cozy town.

Templin is a very beautiful, small, and cozy town. Everything was clean, and there were also open public restrooms. There are plenty of hiking opportunities, and even in November, there was a lot for tourists to see and do. Unfortunately, Lychen wasn't like that; the town seemed to be a bit sleepy at this time of year, with hardly any restaurants open, although it did have some nice hiking trails.

Great choice for families with kids. The main attraction is the beautiful lake nearby. The playground and petting zoo provided good fun for a more relaxed day, and the old town of Templin is only a few minutes away (also good for grocery shopping). The houses are comfortable spacious and the kitchens well equipped, surrounded by lots of greenery and the spa is a minute walk away.

A very nice hotel! You can walk to the lake, kayak, and bike. There's a lovely pool in case of inclement weather. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. The hotel has a good restaurant and ample parking.
