Very close to station and yet the old town was also within easy walking distance. The free coffee and chilled water on tap available from the lobby 24 hours a day was very welcome (especially given the hot weather: it was nice to fill my water bottle before heading out and after coming back). This was a simple, efficient, unfussy kind of a hotel. All the guests seemed to be content and everything worked well. It was really a pleasant place to stay.

Very friendly staff. The layout of the room and bathroom was the best of any hotel I've been in, and I have been in many. Fantastic location on the river, quiet and scenic. Delicious breakfast with helpful staff and wonderful breakfast room.

This hotel is fantastic, we had a superb stay in a beautiful, large and cosy bedroom. The meals were top class, and the menu changed while we were there. The staff are brilliant, pleasant and gave us excellent advice on what to do each day. There are lovely walks in the area. I strongly recommend this hotel to visit relax and enjoy the excellent food.

The rooms are beautiful, romantic and spacious, with spacious bathrooms as well. The minibar was contained a variety of nice drinks that were free of charge, which was a pleasant nice extra! The breakfast was very, very complete and everything was freshly prepared and delicious. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The spa facilities (pool and sauna) were great, very well maintained, and there too was a minibar filled with sparkling water for the guests. Staff was very friendly, from the staff at the reception to the staff at breakfast and in the cleaning service. We also made use of the garage for an additional payment as clearly stated in the description, which was totally worth it for us. It felt very secure, as an underground parking that closes during the night.

Tübingen is a beautiful little city in the Black Forest...

Tübingen is a beautiful little city in the Black Forest region. I visited with my partner in mid-September during a heatwave so we got the best weather for it! There was some sort of festival on so the city centre was packed but I loved it, the atmosphere was incredible but very family friendly too. Just stayed for one night and visited Hohenzollern Castle the next morning which is just 20 minutes from the city

Lovely medieval old town, very well preserved with few architectural sins. In springtime beautifully flowered, very clean despite the masses of visitors. Extraordinary city hall from the 16th century. Spectacular location on the Neckar river. Lots and lots of pubs and eateries, it is, after all, a student town. Try the restaurant "Forelle". Lovely, beautifully decorated dining hall with murals from the 19th century and excellent, reasonably priced food and friendly service.

I was there on a working trip at the university so I was...

I was there on a working trip at the university so I was only one day a tourist. It is a sweet little town with an AltStadt that escaped bombing in WW2, full of half-timbered buildings and a pleasure to walk around. I speak German so I was able to talk to people, took part in University activities. I was there in January so not much going on outdoors but the indoors university town culture was wonderful. I plan to go back next year for another working trip, will explore more. Bus system is very good.

There was a fun atmosphere as the muddy brown river was full of people boating, and bands playing on some boats. Crazy bright flowers everywhere. And the town square was more beautiful than expected, and we almost missed it, thinking the bridge area was the main attraction. We ate at Barren Tapas and it was very good, and affordable.

Old town was very scenic and the authorities have gone to a lot of expense to make the town attractive. The flower displays were everywhere particularly on the Neckar bridge and very impressive. A vibrant centre with plenty of shops, cafes etc. We would certainly recommend a visit.

Beautiful student town, stunning in Sumer with beautiful old town, lovely river and bridge to appreciate the surroundings, quite busy but still charming and quaint, short drive to Stuttgart for a daily excursion, lots to do and see.

We booked Landhotel Hirsch after a previous visit to Bebenhausen when we ate at the hotel restaurant. As such we knew how lovely the village is and were aware of its location in relation to Tübingen. We enjoyed staying at the hotel this time and revisited their great restaurant. We will definitely use it again if we want to visit the Tübingen region but will ask for a different room next time as the one we were allocated had an unusual layout.

We loved everything about our stay at Domizil. The small garden by the river was lovely and relaxing, the breakfast was superb, the rooms were very clean and had everything we needed (a small fridge would have been nice, but we were able to buy cold drinks at the reception - so all good), and the location was perfect.
