Pub/ restaurant on the property with lange portions of good german food. Room with balcony to the beer garden, unfortunately weather was a bit cool to sit outside for long. Large comfortable room with a big double bed which could be separated to make twin beds. Well equipped ensuite bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. Room and hotel was quiet, a good nights sleep. Breakfast was basic but sufficient, included in our tariff. Parking space on the grounds. Would visit again without any Reservations. The Lady in Charge was friendly and competent.

Hotel Tante Alma has a homely and retro feel about it. There is an enormous poster of Mahatma Gandhi on the ground floor and there are many items in the lobby and the corridors that feel like 70s antique. There are tibetan flags in the lobby if I remember well. It gives the hotel a very characteristic, friendly and pleasant atmosphere. Staff are exceedingly friendly and internet is good. The beds are excellent. The shower was fine, though in my room (at the end of the hallway) the hot water took a long time to arrive. Breakfast is simple but excellent. The hotel is meticulously clean. I felt very at home in Tante Alma.

Excellent hotel, service and special attention by the professionals. I am especially thankful to the manager who could arrange food for me after 23:00 as I was late arriving at the hotel and all restaurants nearby were closed incl. online delivery services.

Wachtberg doesn't have all that much to offer.

Wachtberg doesn't have all that much to offer. The town center is extremely narrow and winding, and the roadsides are completely crammed with parked cars. The surrounding area is rural and scenic, with good shopping in Berkum and nice, friendly people, but otherwise not very appealing. I go there because my children live there.

Great hotel, excellent service, very good and affordable restaurant. The surrounding area is also beautiful, not far from the Nurembergring, fantastic to hear those race cars and motorcycles! I'll definitely be back.

Booked a hotel for a stopover and castle visit.

Booked a hotel for a stopover and castle visit. The shower isn't suitable for heavyset people. I weigh 100 kilos and had a hard time fitting into the shower. The bath doesn't have a stopper, so I couldn't take a bath.

The breakfast was simple, but delicious. Exactly what my group were looking for. The staff really were very friendly, and helpful. they parked our motorcycles round the back of the building in a safe location, they provided a platter style evening meal for everyone which really was exceptional and they were fantastic hosts. Wachtberg is a lovely little town, well worth a visit, as is the surrounding countryside.

Location was convenient for us to visit friends in the area. Had a friendly welcome. There is parking at back entrance of the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good too.
