A truly outstanding stay! The room was comfortable with a brand-new bathroom, and the view from the terrace was just stunning. The owning couple are such lovely people who clearly put a lot of care and attention into every detail. Breakfast was amazing and far above what you’d normally expect in this area. Overall, this hotel offers so much more than the usual standard – highly recommended!will come back for sure!!

Great place with wonderful owners. The room was very fresh and spotless. Breakfast and dinner were both really good. I do enjoy that you need to order beforehand. The portions are very generous. You sort of forget it's a hotel, but you get the feeling you've come to someone's home. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back!

I work in the hospitality industry myself and as such we tend to be very critical. It is not often that you find the professional welcome and service you are providing yourself on a daily basis. Here you are made welcome instantly and the rest of the stay just was just as perfect. The restaurant near the guesthouse saved us travel time, and...

The restaurant near the guesthouse saved us travel time, and the portions were generous. We didn't have time to explore Wieda itself, but we did visit the highly recommended Walkenried Monastery. Wieda served as our base for a trip up the Brocken mountain on the narrow-gauge railway.

This is a small village in the Harz Mountains, from where you can reach all the important destinations. There is a bakery, restaurants, and if you want to go shopping, you can do so in the next village, about 5 minutes away by car.

A godforsaken place, showing numerous signs of decay and...

A godforsaken place, showing numerous signs of decay and vacancy. The only two restaurants in town were mediocre. It was fine for a short motorcycle trip where you only want to sleep and eat, but I wouldn't want to spend a longer holiday there.
